Pretty aggressive first response.
I've been wondering what is taking them so long. The attack was seemingly out of the blue for them, so either A) they are making sure they are taking every precaution, or B) they're considering the rhetoric from potato brain.
My guess is that they're giving time to see if they can rescue any hostages before blasting that shithole off the face of the earth.

They have to get all their ducks in a row. The moment they invade Gaza they have to also worry about more fronts opening up. Have to double/triple check your game plan before moving in.

This is as much about the single US carrier the US does not want to expose. They are waiting on the Eisenhower to provide additional support and fleet protection.
Did you forget what Ukraine has done to the Russian fleet and supposedly with US strategic help. I am sure there are concerns the Russians would help them try to take out an American ship if possible.

1) what do you mean taking them so long? they have been bombing the frick out of them.
2) they are not going boots on the ground until they have destroyed most of the tunnels and killed as many as they can. its urban warfare and its going to be messy AF. why the frick would they rush in and lose more lives than if they used to current strategy.
do you think the US should have just invaded Japan without bombing first?
3) the hostages are dead or will be as soon as boots go on the ground. this isnt about them. there are tunnels all under the strip, they need to destroy those first then make sure they are locked and loaded to be able to defend against any other fronts that may open.
the lack of just basic knowledge on this board is laughable.

It is about them. As a minimum, Israel can point to this pause and say they did everything possible to determine the location and create a plan. Allows them to maintain the moral high ground.
