Who gets left out of college football playoff?

PAC 12 Champ: if they have one loss of less-Washington or Oregon
Big 10 Champ: if they have one loss or less: Ohio St., Michigan, Penn or Penn St.
Big 12 Champ: if they have one loss or less: Texas or Oklahoma
SEC Champ: Most likely Georgia but you never know.
ACC Champ: Florida St. or UNC with one loss or less
Would actually be a great year for a 12 team playoff. One thing for certain, no conference is getting two teams this year.

The only thing certain is that there is a lot of football left to be played.
As of right now, there is only one undefeated team left in each of the PAC 12 and Big 12. A one-loss champ in either conference is hardly a lock.

These threads always get started every year in week 8

There has never been a year where 12 teams deserved to be in a playoff. There's never been a year when even 6 teams deserved to be in a playoff.
We are going to find the best 4 teams rather easily by the end of the season.
Look at FBS - since TV coverage expanded and especially since the internet came around, higher and higher seeds (lower number) are winning the title, over time. That's because more people get to see more games and get a better evaluation of the teams. Same applies to FCS. This last half of the season is going to straighten things out, especially once the Big10 heavyweights play each other.

They should have been. What’s the point here?

Washington or Oregon
only way a 1 loss pac12 school gets in, is if mayhem proceeds.
after you tards sucked this conferences dick for first few weeks, they are who they always are.
neither washington or oregon are standouts, they would get skull fricked by georgia

My bold prediction is that the SEC will get left out because every team will have at least two losses and OU and Texas will both end up making the CFP.

Its October.
Maybe make this post around Thanksgiving.

What happens when Florida beats Georgia and gets left out of the SEC championship and the SEC champ is a 2 loss team?

Washington will get left out with 1-loss and 1-win against the Pac12 champ Oregon.

I think if Wash and Oregon rematch with Oregon winning, then they put both in. Seems like this year is a push for NON-SEC teams.
Two PAC12, One Big 10 Undefeated, then SEC with Georgia - I say Georgia because they will not lose until SEC Championship, and I do not believe they will be punished enough to drop out

LSU fans are going to spend the next month coming up with all kinds of mental gymnastics that put them in the playoffs.
Too many good P5 programs this year that will finish with 0 or 1 loss. Will have a minimum of one from every P5 conference and SEC is down this year so those teams are in over a 2-loss team.

Six teams were worthy of being in the playoffs in 2014. The playoff committee dropped TCU 3 spots in the final poll after winning 55-3.
