Was taking 5g creatine daily for 7 weeks while I did PPSA’s Let’s Pregame. Started off with a 5 day loading phase of 20 g/day.

Just took a week off from lifting while on vacation. No creatine for 8 days as of now.

Do I need to do another loading phase when I start the new program on Monday?

I don't believe so, the practice of loading creatine has been debunked. Just take your 5grams/day and you'll be good. Also, depending on your size and how hard you go in your workouts you may entertain the idea of taking more than 5grams/day. I weigh 260, I used to take 5gr/day but I increased it to 7.5 or 10 because I'm doing this Squatober and it's beating me up.

I’m looking for a brand that doesn’t make me nauseous. Tried isopure and 1st phorm but no luck.

I got the MicroIngredients brand pure creatine monohydrate off of Amazon. No stomach issues.

What do you mix it with? Coffee or a hot green tea would dissolve it well. I mix it with coffee in the morning and just mix with water in the evening.

It doesn't seem to bother me.

This, but they do help speed up the process.

I load up daily. I stay in the 8g - 10g range daily.

Do you notice any real difference with higher amounts?

I’ve never taken just 5g. Huberman suggests 7-10g for an adult male based on weight. I don’t think there is an exact science.

I've noticed since starting creatine consistently that my weight does not fluctuate daily like it did before. Previously, I'd see swings of 2-3lbs/day pretty regularly...now it's .5lb max. Just a coincidence or is it keeping me at a consistent level of water retention?

Jumping in this thread to say I'm jealous of you guys that can take creatine. That stuff gives me gout, no matter how much water I drink. Just as I was starting to feel better in the gym, I got gout and it's put me on my arse. My doctor advised I stop taking it.

Either water with protein powder or greek yogurt with protein powder.

The nausea comes in waves and not every time, but enough to narrow down which ingredient it is.
