Why is one of the coaches for Washington holding up a Baton Rouge Kingfish sign?

In the Oregon / Washington NCAA game one of the Washington coaches or someone one the sideline was hold of a sign with the old Baton Rouge Kingfish ECHL logo.
WTF. That’s random as hell.

He’s telling the other coach his mom smells like tuna

Play call signs don’t typically make sense to outsiders

He’s telling his team they are getting murdered

I get it but this didn’t seem to be a play call sign. He was holding it up over his head like to show off.

He’s pissed at the lame name and logo for the new Baton Rouge hockey team.

They use random symbols for all kinds of shite for calling in plays. Doesn’t necessarily mean anything directly.
Peyton Manning used “Omaha” to call audibles. Didn’t mean much other than something three syllables and distinctive to where the line could hear him.

Bart Starr called his own plays.

So did Jim Kelly, in college and both the USFL and the NFL.
