The post-credits scene has Kamala recruiting Kate Bishop to put together a new female super team. Also mentions recruiting Cassie (Ant-Man's daughter).

Disney really just doesn't know when to stop.

So many soy boys out there. How many neck beards and fedoras in the audience? The older demo and low numbers should be very troubling for Disney.

Set aside for a second how masculine the guys in question are. Consider how heavy of a male audience they still have.

Even though the movie is starring an actress that didn't want or expect men to watch. They still have better than 60% male viewers.

Is this a second post credits scene in addition to the one that leaked discussed in the other thread?

In that thread I was lamenting how I enjoyed Haley Steinfeld’s character in Kate Bishop in Hawkeye. I hope she says no.

ETA: I guess this is where Florence Pugh will eventually land as well. Shame because I enjoyed her in Black Widow and Hawkeye

They turn out to be trans men at the end of the next Avengers movie.

And adopt the team name Ex Women.

This is wrong btw. That's the ending scene.

The mid credits scene is actually alot more interesting

Spoiler

A certain blue character played by a radio show psychiatrist shows up

Saw it yesterday

It was ok.

About as good as Multiverse of Madness. Not nearly as bad as Thor: Love and Thunder

Brie sucked, as was expected. Imani was great. Teyonna was good. Action was meh. Story was meh. Brie's boobs were nice.

Definitely not meant for male consumption.

Glad it was short, I'll say that.

As usual, the daughter and I went and holy shite this was awful. My cynical 14yr old was popping off zingers throughout the whole movie. My favorite, “she’s sad because it’s taking her too long to win”.

This movie had 0 arc. It was just a shite show on film. Had to not been our tradition we would have skipped it. It was exactly what you think it is.

Exactly. They are creating a product for young females when that demo doesn't want anything to do with it and they wonder why sales are down.

Exactly. Disney, and many other companies, are catering to the loudmouths on social media that don't go to the movies. They know this, but they don't want to change.

UPDATED SATURDAY, refresh for more…: The last-minute push for The Marvels with an appearance by star Brie Larson on The Tonight Show and at a theater in NYC post-actors strike have not weekend moved grosses any higher for what is Marvel Studios‘ The Marvels which is seeing a Friday in the vicinity of where we expected it at $21.5M and a weekend opening between $47M-$52M, the lowest ever for Disney‘s Marvel Cinematic Universe. Oh, also, The Marvels gets one of several post-pandemic B CinemaScores from audiences after Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (B+), Thor Love & Thunder (B+), Eternals (B), and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (B). It's akin to making a romance, and keeping all the tropes in it, and focusing on the male angle-
like casting some fat, bald dude as the guy, but he isn't funny or charming, he's just a dweeb and a bit of an a-hole. And women are pining over him. And there's no sex, just a lot of emotional angst.

Guys aren't going to watch that, and whatever women watch will complain how bad it is.

Someone whose opinion I value described watching the Marvels as "not going on a vacation yourself, but listening to someone else drone on about their vacation."
