Has anyone ever won the Heisman on an 8-4 team?

I think there's going to be a bias against presenting the award to Caleb Williams two years in a row - unless he puts up unreal numbers and USC is in the mix for a national championship. I mean, Tebow didn't win it twice.

If Daniels continues to play well and gets it done against Alabama, he's got as good a shot as anyone.

Jd is is a million times better then he was a year ago. But he’s not as good as people think he is. Majority of his throws the receiver is wide arse open! Like completely fricking open nobody near him. I applaud him for getting them the ball unlike last year. But with a good defense I think we’re screwed, especially with how bad our defense is. Downvote all you want but a defense with a pulse will look a lot like the FSU game. People just won’t/can’t admit it.

There is a faction of this fan base that irrationally hates Jayden and still can't admit that they were wrong about him.

By the time this season ends, the list of greatest QB ever at LSU will have Jayden Daniels strongly in the top 3. Whether you like it, or you don't like it, learn to live with it, because it's the best thing going today ... whoo !!!

it's going to a QB it should because honestly that's the only stat that matters for a QB. Brady is regarded as the GOAT because of winning games. Not because of his stats
except, Tom Brady's stats kinda kill your point. He has stats to back up being the greatest ever, ALONG with Superbowls

firstly. This is the case with all college offenses. The windows just aren't as tight as they are in the NFL.

And secondly, he has thrown many passes, TD passes, that would've fit through an envelope.

You're jaded and wrong

The heisman has always been about the best player on the best team

Except for Manziel, RG3, Lamar Jackson & thats just recently that I recall. Winning the Heisman when your team isn't undefeated or has lost a couple games isn't something new.
