Should men pay on dates as reparations for the gender wage gap?

Should men pay on dates as reparations for the gender wage gap?
For years, I split the bill on dates. As a Latina from a lineage of women whose lives had been micro-managed by family patriarchs, I thought I was breaking bad generational patterns by interacting with men as equals rather than as providers.
But recently, I started getting pushback from some of my friends. They argued that because of the persisting gender pay gap, it’s actually now properly feminist to expect men to pay on first dates and contribute more financially in relationships.
One friend instructed me: “Don’t even think about reaching for your purse.” The thought of possibly coercing a man into paying for my dinner, however, just seemed wrong.
Still, this discussion did make me wonder: Should I expect men to pay on dates as a form of reparations for generational harm?

Men should theoretically pay on dates if it is a good faith date and they were the one who asked.
If the bitch is just there for a free meal, the guy should pay his share and walk. Especially if she demands tons of stuff just to see what he will pay for.

She should remain single and never reproduce, the true way of fighting the patriarchy.

I thank Christ every day for my awesome, still hot Conservative wife.
Modern women for the most part are fking insufferable.

So feminism has now come around to the fact that men should act like men?
I'm so confused.
I'm so confused.

As a Latina
If its actually a date, then IMO the guy should pay for at least the first one but really probably the first 2 or 3 dates. Its the gentlemanly thing to do. As long as the woman actually has an interest in the guy and isn’t just using him for free meals

NPR reported a poll a year or so ago where something like 70% of female respondents said they went on Tinder dates for the nice meals and cost of entertainment (concert, comedy shows, cover charges), having no interest in the guy whatsoever.
Maybe women have always done that, but it seems more shameless with the dating apps.
I guess it allows engineers and IT professionals to be seen on a date with women out of their league, but they got no shot.

Whatever Clips had a panel of phat women who were asked that question.
One said: 'If he pays for dinner I'm gonna be really nice. If he also pays for the uber that took me I'm gonna give him the time of his life!'

Oh yeah! But I didn't know that was her name.

Don't know the Asian girls' name to be honest.
"Rage-Quit Kiko" is that nasty, know-it-all Teacher who is only slightly less annoying than "Bangs".
It's an incredibly entertaining show, but in many ways very sad and scary to think these chicks are in the gene pool and my son will have to choose from amongst them!

There IS a pay gap.
There IS NO unequal pay.
Men work different jobs. Men work more hours.
Should me make less per hour than women to ensure that women who work less hours make the same income!!!!
