what would you do? Considering how clueless Les is, I wouldn't be surprised to see the co-dc's back one more year.

He would lose the faith people have in him. The coaches may turn out one day to be good DCs, but the 12 games this year showed they are not ready now. It would be a bad move to allow them to stay as DCs.

See Dinardo.

Stop donating money. That's the only thing that they understand.

We are getting a DC, so no need in your hypothetical.

Dude, just shut the frick up. I don't think that Les has done a good job this year at all, but this is fricking ridiculous. The man has been a college assistant coach, an NFL assistant coach, and a Head Coach at two major football programs. I don't think he's the most elite coach in college, but he's not clueless, so STFU!

Les thinks the defense is fine, just listen to all his post-game comments.

That would be the fast track to getting fired. I would say that he was two more seasons, one if its really bad.

The fact that you believe coach speak lets me know even further how idiotic you are.

I would go to games and sit in my seats as I did during the Hallman and Dinardo years. And I would just wait till the first embarassing game, and then count the weeks until Les Miles is fired and everybody is shocked like they didn't see it coming.

I would describe it a bad judgement. He is letting his loyalty cloud his judgement (not the 1st coach to do this). These Co-Ds should have never been hired. It was an experiment at an upper level program, which should have never happened. If Co-Ds come back he loses the program after next season. Even if he doesn't get fired (which he should be because the defense will get shredded again next year) he will never regain any traction.

Saw it in hanging on to RP too long

Saw it in letting thug behavior on the field go unpunished

He's got to start using those Lesticles on his own sometimes

I don't have the quote but seem to recall that Les's rationale was when you're having success you don't want to change things up too much. Hence, in attempt to maintain Pelini's "success" we got two for the price of one.

I guess at the time the co-DC thing seemed to be the best way to maintain success. Just poor judgment on Les's part.
