More rumors surrounding Nolan directing the next two Bond films

I believe these are emanating from the same source who originally reported the news a couple of weeks back, but now some sites who follow Christopher Nolan are starting to pipe in. Apparently, as the rumors go, Nolan is in talks to direct TWO films that would be based on novels originally written by Ian Fleming. What's more? They would be period pieces, set in the time period when they were written.
If this is true, that might be an admission from Barbara Broccoli and Eon Productions that no one wants to see Bond turned into an emotional wimp. Hopefully there is truth to these rumors because the only way forward for Bond in this era of #MeToo is to take Bond back to a time where such behavior by Bond toward women was more socially acceptable.

So Tom Hardy would be Nolan’s top choice right? I could see Nolan want Bale as bond as well. Either way he’s going to want someone he’s worked with.

We know three things if Nolan does Bond:
- The female lead will be unattractive (see: the basset hound in TDK and the ugly chick with the caste mark in the middle of her forehead in TDKR)
- Dialog will be muddled ("Meanie, shaped not stirrups")
- Told story be will fashion non-linear (because the fanboys think plot development in a non-chronological order is deep and profound)
