He also needs to be called out on his awful Second Amendment record.

He should have to explain "due process later"

But all of this is the exact reason the coward will not debate Republicans.

In a normal world, conservatives would love for Florida to be contrasted against California. Its one of the clearest examples in America of the differences between conservative and liberal policies.

Truly a bizarre turn of events.

I'll give you a hint: it is because they are not in any way Conservatives.

Trump can’t debate. Any debate opponent would be able to hit him where his Presidential record left something to be desired.

It’s easy to debate someone who hasn’t been in the position you’re running for. Debating someone after you’ve been on the office and had the full power of the office is really difficult.

You cant say you are ok with Trump ditching debates when we were all calling out Biden for being a coward for staying in his basement doing the same thing.

Biden's team announced he would not debate RFK and this board melted and called him every name in the book.

Quite literally the next day, Trump floated that he would not debate because he was too far ahead (at that time he really wasn't as much as he is now).

And they immediately about faced. It was truly awe-inspiring to watch.

Couldn’t have said it better. There are Trump voters who are intelligent, passionate, perceptive people and it sucks that you tend to get drowned out by some of the most brain dead sycophantic assclowns who have turned this whole thing into a sporting event with a side of worship.

He has nothing to gain and is currently blowing away the field. It doesn't make sense. We already know what Trump is about. He was actually president at one time and his policies were some of the best this country has ever seen.

Yeah, asking a presidential candidate to explain his record and positions is too difficult.

I mean, screw the voters, why do they feel so entitled to hear from their candidates anyway?

Life must be much easier in the cult, where you are told what to think.

“If you can’t see _____ then I don’t know what to tell ya” should be above the door at the wackjob conspiracy headquarters.

Maybe in Greek.

Are the independents in swing states who favor Trump in the cult as well? I can bump a few of the threads on the topic if you’d like? :)

Ronald Reagan somehow managed to win 49 states after debating Mondale.

The "destroy everything but Trump" crowd of window lickers is a cancer on the entire political right half of the country.

Trump is trying a new twist on the 2020 Biden strategy of hiding in the basement instead of campaigning while the mainstream media and deep state allies do all the work. Except with Trump he appears to be campaigning when he is actually hiding in plain sight events that generate campaign donations to be used to pay for his legal expenses while avoiding his competitors. You have to give him credit because it is a very shrewd strategy

Quite the admission. So Trump articulating his policies won’t gain him any support? Is that your claim?

This isn’t the gotcha you think it is.

It’s a tacit admission that Trump running on his cult of personality not his policies. and exposing his policies will only hurt him.

I think that’s (obviously) the case, but I doubt that’s what you intended with your post.

Six months ago I thought the crowd saying he doesn't want to win was a bit unhinged, but I'm not sure they are. I wouldn't say he doesn't want to but he may be ambivalent about it. His main goal appears to be raising money and appearing in front of adoring crowds, and he can do that win or lose. He'll probably raise more if he loses.
