Just an fyi: If you have never seen the prices of AIs in Turks and Caicos, take a look.

T&C may be the most expensive islands outside of St Bart in the Caribbean. The prices are WILD. You can find some decent value like maybe Club Med, but otherwise it gets quite pricey.

Dominican Republic has a quite a few AIs, many that are adult and most more affordable than Turks.

Look hard at flight options to these small islands, some can take a lot of transfers with limited flights to get there

If you haven't done it before, keep it simple: Cancun or Costa Rica. The last one I was at was Beloved Excellence.

Do not select the cheapest room. We checked into to what was a two story condo with a hot tub on the roof. Great stuff. Then I went back to the lobby and realized there were 20 something newlyweds that clearly went cheap and were in rooms that had zero view at all.

I have been all over and been to a lot of all inclusives. I did a few reports on them here.

The best I have been to is Iberostar, Grand Bavaro in Punta Cana and Secrets Maroma Beach in Playa Del Carmen

My wife and I are about to book a trip for next summer

Grand Bavaro

Wife and I did our honeymoon at the Grand Bavaro in 2016 and thought it was amazing. Granted its the only AI we have ever done, but I thought for being an AI that the food/drinks/amenities/etc. were all very good.

But to a somewhat broke newlywed, all you really need is a large bed and the rest takes care of itself. If I went back to an all inclusive now, I would want a nicer room, but 20 years ago at Sandals it didn't really matter. We spent most of the time outdoors and when we were in the room we weren't worried about the view. Hot tub would have been nice though.

Turks & Caicos
There are not many AI in Turks & Caicos, and I am not sure there is one that is adults only. It's still worth a look, because that place is simply amazing. We stayed at 7 Stars and I would 100% stay there again.

I can 2nd that. It is a much smaller resort, and not on the beach but was very relaxing.

Also, Secrets Maroma Beach was a great place and does check the box for an adult-only AI.

Agree with Secrets Maroma; just got back last week for 6 nights. Best resort I have ever been too; wife loves the beach since we have an nice pool at the house and it was wonderful. Service and food was outstanding and the shows were great; might not be a choice if you are a young couple traveling to party. Stayed in the preferred ocean view room on the 3 floor; unit was closest to ocean front rooms(wasn't going to play that much). 45 minutes from airport,

We have been there 6 times. Its such a great place with a great staff. A little more intimate than some of the other all inclusives but that is why we go there. Maroma beach is a little more of a social place

We actually stayed at the Grand Bavaro before it opened officially. We were staying next door at the Bavaro and they invited us to move over there for a test run when they first finished it. There were probably 50 people total staying there that week. It was incredible.

T&C is beautiful. I don't think there are any adults only AI there now. There is a Beaches location now- was an AI before it was bought by Sandals/Beaches. That is the property where we stayed when we were there several years ago.

You can look into an AirBnB or VRBO there. We met some ppl who had done that when we were there. It's not hard to find good places to eat on the island.

Have you considered Great Exuma at all? next to T&C it's the prettiest water in the Caribbean.

We have stayed at plenty of sandals resorts
-jamaica x5, great exuma x2, barbados, and St. Lucia and Great Exuma has been our fave for the beach. St. Lucia is a different vibe- more tropical rain forest, but still lovely in it's own way.

We've also been to Grand Cayman and didn't care much for it.

T&C is definitely the gold standard for us when it come to Caribbean beaches.

ETA: I think the quality of Sandals resorts has diminished over the past 3-5 years. Secrets resorts are pretty similar, but not as many locations. and another thing to consider when selecting a room, you will not be in the room much.

I'm happy to give honest feedback about any of the Sandals resorts/excurions/etc if decide to go that route.

We did El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya and had a wonderful experience. I had done all inclusives in Cozumel and Cancun and this was my first adults only that I wasn’t trying to be cheap on and it was a great trip. And i hate beach trips.

Recently stayed at adults only Live Aqua in Cancun. It was very chill with most guests > 30 years old. Lots of shopping close by and the food was outstanding.
