Note:
• LSU has not published any Official Depth Charts this season, so this is my own fan-made Unofficial LSU Depth Chart.
• I removed some 2nd and 3rd string players because they did not see the field against Arkansas.
• Javien Toviano came in as the DIME on the 2nd series of the game.
• LSU has not replaced Greg Brooks with another Defensive Captain.
• The Official "Game-by-Game Starters" graphic does not list a SAM LB spot.
• The Ole Miss Game Notes document includes an "In Depth Chart" like Arkansas did, if you're interested.

This week's Game Notes for both schools may be found here:

Is Omar Speights battling with Penn or Weeks when he gets healthy? This shows Penn but they may be more likely to start Penn-Speights than Weeks-Speights

Edit: Good chance he doesn't start at all. Just asking.

LSU Games Notes listed Omar Speights as a participant in the Arkansas game, but I never saw him take a defensive rep in the game. He must have been on Special Teams. Maybe it's a bring-him-back-slowly kind of situation, like they did with Ovie Oghoufo at JACK.

ETA: I went back to the OP and added a link to the "LSU Game-by-Game Participation List." Several names are missing, but I suspect it is because they have not participated in any games this season. However, this doesn't quite seem right. I was certain that a couple of the WRs got some PT vs Grambling.

I would love to see Stamps or Welch start over Zy and Toviano over Burns for a little.

Also, Jefferson and Smith need to split equally if not opposite until Smith gets his legs back.

Why are you listing 12 starters or offense & defense?

Due to formation sub packages, it is customary for teams to list 12 positions on their Offensive and Defensive depth charts.

On LSU’s offense they have two types of TEs: there is the “Y” which is normally attached on the line next to the OT and the “F” which can float around like a WR or even a FB.

On their defense they have a NICKEL and a SAM, which normally play sort of the same spot.

Thank you, I gave up after week 2 looking for it. Quite a pain in the arse for getting to know new players imo.

I was surprised to see BTJ has had so many starts throughout his career.

He’s played in 29 games, but it looks like 18 starts.

I am trying not to duplicate positions for players. He was also the #2 LT when Will Campbell got pulled for the helmet-throwing penalty versus Mississippi State.

Looks good. Only a couple of changes I could see.

Maybe swapping West Weeks and Speights. Apparently Kelly has mentioned that Speights and Whit Weeks will rotate when both are available. So that means they're both playing the same position. West Weeks has been Penn's backup too.

I think Swinson has jumped Oghoufo who was "unavailable" against Arkansas. At worst, I'd say Swinson "or" Ovie at Jack.

I think Justin Jefferson has earned the "or" tag at NT too. Wouldn't be surprised to see him play more reps than Smith.

So it’s sort of worthless then?

Believe it or not, Oghoufo actually got the start against Arkansas. I didn’t see him much after that, though.

Yes, but aren’t all depth charts worthless? No coach is really beholden to them, and they could be hiding injuries.
