The guy leading the #18 rushing defense and #18 in sacks in the country wasn't good enough for Kelly.

They based the hire on whether or not there was a buyout and how much. This straight from someone in the Administration. Lindsey fit the bill cause he was the cheapest.

Kelly doesn’t like proven position coaches. Our CB coach has never coached CB’s yet we rely on inexperienced cb’s that need coaching. Maybe they are cheaper so we can pay him his 100 mil.

I just don’t understand why BK is worried about the money so much, on these hires. I mean his contract is huge so why skimp on position coaches.. I mean for all his experience and coaching why skimp and get lesser coaches

Maybe BK needs to fork over some of his salary to help make up the difference when he needs to make a big hire. What’s he making like 10 mill a year? Surely he could break a little off if it improves his team.
