One of the best events in sports.
Patrick Reed (regardless of how you feel about him) sinking a long birdie putt right after Rory sank a long birdie putt and shushed the crowd back in 2016 is an underrated all-time sports moment.

Me and a big group went to the Saturday/Sunday matches of that Ryder cup and I tell everyone that was the best, most intense and exciting sporting event I’ve ever been to. If you ever get the chance to go I highly recommend.
I’ve been to super bowls the masters, big SEC games in a lot of different stadiums and that tops them all.
I think the ryder cup is the best event in golf and highly underrated. Very excited for this weekend even though we have not won in Europe in 30 years

They just said Jordan Speith was 2 months old the last time we won on European soil. Good grief

Yep it’s been a while

One of my college roommates dad was on that team and beat Seve one of the days. That’s my CSB story of the day

One of the Brit reporters told Zack Johnson he overheard 2 caddies talking and they said the Europeans practice putting more leading up to the Ryder Cup which is why they play better in the matches. The look on Johnson’s face was pretty hilarious.

100%. I like watching Homa and he had an awesome moment at the end of the last Ryder Cup as well when he drained a long putt to really put the nail in the coffin on 18. Probably embellishing from memory, but it seemed like he turned around and pimped the putt before it ever hit the cup and let out a huge "LFG!!!".

pretty confident he will outperform multiple teammates regardless.
IMO he should NOT be on the team but he wont be our worst guy

You either mean a different golfer or the President's Cup.

My bad -- yes it was the President's Cup

A TPC Sawgrass Ryder would be lit

i am sure that new complex the PGA built in dallas is going to try for one. No where in Houston that is fit for it sadly
kiawah is an obvious call.
They will probably just do it at Valhalla again. Been to a PGA there. Its great and all but I don't get the draw for the pga championship to keep going back

I’ve heard they stay away from the south because of the heat but it’s really not that bad right now. I don’t really buy it but who knows

I went to Whistling Straits on Saturday in 2021. Was so awesome. An absolute shellacking put on by the good guys.
