Help a lawn novice out please. Just moved early June. Centipede in the front and a mix of centipede and St Aug in the back. Applied Scott’s Bonus S Weed and Feed around mid-June. I have about 3/4 bag left over. Have a lot of clover and other weeds in the back…can I apply this again? Wait a few weeks? Apply something entirely different?

I wouldn't feed now. Get some pre emerge and put down when the soil temp is between 75 and 70 degrees LINK Someone posted yesterday Lowe's is running a good sale on Lesco 0-0-7 right now.
I failed to put down a second drop of fertilizer this year due to drought. Instead I laid Humic a few weeks back and followed up yesterday with Dirt Booster. I'm focusing on bettering my soil right now. I have Barricade (pre emerge) to drop when the soil temps are appropriate.
Good luck

Go buy msm. Kill your weeds and put down simazine as a pre em.

Ronk where do you buy your herbicides? I know you do this for a living.

The Bonus S never killed the clover in my yard. I used the Clegg's cocktail and it worked perfectly. Baton Rouge.

It might be too hot to apply Bonus S right now unless you live further north than Baton Rouge.

I take it I can just place a baking thermometer into the soil for a temp?

A lot of it is direct from manufacturers. Some from Site One and Ewing pool supplies.

Don’t do it

Pushing it with that much nitrogen this late is a bad idea

I’ve done it and it’s not good

That fertilizer is too much nitrogen in general for centipede

Go with something with more potassium

Don’t use weed and feed

I bought Lesco 0-0-7 pre-emergent. Should I apply this weekend? I live in Lafayette. Centipede and st Aug.

Weather is dropping soon so now would be a good time to apply.

yep My scott's plan(late fall) calls for me to put down my weed and feed now. Will use the spreader and drop it early next week temps will be highs in 70's and lows in 50's.

Weed and Feed?
I can’t imagine a lawn plan recommending feeding in October.

Is it low nitrogen??
