I don’t know about Caddo particularly but I know the Soros DA in Orleans is picking and choosing who gets charged and “accidentally” dropping the ball on filing needed motions for criminals like the juveniles in Angola.
Which is exactly why he was voted into the position. He really didn't even need the Soros largesse.
For the most part, politicians are extensions of their constituencies.
The courts ensured that there would no longer be juveniles housed in Angola. One excuse was that there wasn't enough air conditioning. And that such an environment might make some of them worse.
If the people - other than the victims - could get a close up look at some of these juveniles, it would seriously dampen their images of just young people gone astray.
The level of atavism would surprise some of the theorists.

How does Landry feel about St. George?

Supposedly Steve Prator, soon to be ex Caddo Parish Sheriff, will be in charge of this new statewide program. Caddo Parish will be fricked for sure but it will be good for the state of Louisiana.

You’ve got to take the Harry Lee approach. Cops arrest criminals, DA’s prosecute criminals and judges need to use the phrase 25 years to life in sentencing. All 3 have to be on same page. Once they are starting to put a lot of criminals in Angola the hood will notice and say they ain’t playing no more.

Blame it all on white people and their guns.

I hope something is done. We live in a clown world that whenever someone tries to attack crime and protect innocent black people it’s called racist because what about the scum criminals.

Well the current Governor pushed prison reform, let thousands of felons out of jail, and is pushing hard to reduce the sentences of convicted felons right now.
The current Governor let the State Police get out of control. Their scandals are a blight on the state.
This seems incongruous. If one let's sociopathic individuals out of jail then can one blame LE for becoming more 'fire with fire' oriented as the episodes and severity of crime goes off the charts? Either LE protects the good folk, or they ultimately have to protect their own. This is not rocket science, and as serious sociopathic crime spreads out of the Black communities to where it has traditionally been accepted as a 'Black Cultcha' thing, honest people with either get the protection that Law is bound to deliver, or they will go the vigilante route sooner or later.
Jail the Black/White/Whatever heathen thugs no matter what the excuse (racist system at the fore) is and send the message that if you break the laws and do grave harm to you peers, you forfeit freedom. The alternative will be a lot more painful. Of course, when we all see 'heathen' uber-hypocritical folk like Hunter and Joe at the top, it's hard to convince anybody that Law is Just and should be respected.
Respect for Law begins at the Top. Our society is fast losing that respect.
