Trumps preposterous defense in documents trial

quote:

While the other three indictments against Trump face formidable obstacles, including controversial legal interpretations, complicated narratives, and difficult questions of knowledge and intent, the story behind the documents case is relatively straightforward: Trump took a bunch of stuff that did not belong to him and refused to return it.

Put it in legal terms, citing statutes, ramifications, possible jail terms, etc. Maybe you could get Xi to splain it to you,

The Mar A Lago documents case is easily the strongest one against Trump. His primary defense is "other people did it" and "I had authority but can't demonstrate that I invoked it". Lack of discipline and ego got him in that mess and he's going to be guilty on that one. The rest I think only find him guilty if there's a biased jury. But, on this one, he did it to himself and the worst part might be that he knew there was a double standard in place when he did it.

Probably. But, there seems to have been a bunch of prosecutorial misconduct going on with the over zealous prosecutors. Isn't this the one where they implied they might could "move along a judgeship application" for one of the attorneys? Might get tossed but I would imagine they would refile with a different grand jury.

No matter how many paragraphs and articles pumped out by the MSM, the simple fact is this.

Trump, as President, can pretty much do as he pleases with regards to his admin's files.

Just like every other President before him did.

Joe, was VP, had no such powers.

Total and complete nothingburger to hide the Establishment's corruption. Straight up.

He was not President when he refused to answer a subpoena to return the documents.

It is simple.

It was really stupid on Trumps part to start this fight.

It is a very good example of the dangers to us all that man with such a flawed ego has such power.

Defined by cultist as any written or spoken word critical of Trump.

To infer Reason is mainstream media proves the cult is blind.

He didn't. All he did was do what he was legally allowed.

The fight started when the Deep State first illegally spied on a US citizen then sitting US President, followed by a false claim of colluding with Russians.

Trump was keeping evidence that clears him against the gov's illegal coup against his 1st term.

I'm not inferring anything.

I'm stating it as stone-cold fact.

If it was under his administration, then the law will support his keeping those documents, like the precedent under previous rulings

Stop using reason in your arguments. We're trying to hate on Trump.

BS. There is no law on his side on this issue.

Lying to investigators is obstruction of justice.

It is not hard for objective readers to understand.
