Born and raised in north Houston (Klein), moved here in Feb 2007. I grew up playing hockey ay Sharpstown (yes all the way from the northside), then the Sugarland Aerodrome when that opened, then the Willowbrook Aerodrome when that opened. Still have a my legit knitted Aeros jersey in my hockey bag. Adopted the Avs when I moved up here since I never had an NHL team to be a fan of. Everything else is all Htown still.

Dallas is easily the superior team.
Tonight, absolutely.
Overall? TBD.
This is going to go 6 or 7. Always was.
It’s Avs top lines taking over Dallas depth.
OR the Avs matching Dallas depth like Game 1.
As an Avs fan, all I wanted was to split these two and get Dallas in the altitude without extra rest. Mission accomplished, in my mind. Doesn’t mean series is CLOSE to being decided.
I will say - Georgie hasn’t played bad at all.

Completely agree
After game 1 didn’t bother me to lose tonight but would prefer a better effort and less injury concerns
Georgie has been great

Drouin coming back soon. Need him. Parise has been solid in his absence, but Drouin is definitely an upgrade to have back.

Well, that’s what makes it interesting as all hell.
Where do you put Drouin? It gives the Avs crazy depth

God just end this game now so we don’t get any injuries
Showed up played like shite tonight everyone except Georgie

Knowing how Bednar works, I wouldn’t want to be on the ice for the next skate.

I have to admit, I enjoy your banter on here.
Thanks, man, its fun to go back and forth. At least I'll admit when I'm a little bitch lol Tuesday was not a good day for me. Had to get lawyers involved in a project/contract dispute. Much more level headed to talk shite on here tonight

Hey boss, I’m a Marine and can happily admit when I’m being a little pussy.
This’ll be the most entertaining series this round, and seriously - good luck to both fanbases. I do think the West is decided in this.

Spot on eval/summary. Gotta say, so far I was way off on the game expecations. If youd told me before the series that scores would be 4-3OT and 4-2 after a 4-0 start, I would have said Stars won game 1 and Avs won Game 2. I'm even more surprised both of these games started with 7 straight goals from Dallas before the Avs got on the board. I'll go back and quote myself from posts before the series started.

This.
As a Flames fan, it would be really cool to have a western Canadian team in the Final, but neither Edmonton nor Vancouver can skate with either of these teams.

The better team will win tonight, Dallas.
They played a great mental game and the Avs played a weak one to all hell with penalties. I think Dallas also knew that a 2-0 series in Colorado’s favor was a mountain to climb not quite like Vegas.
I’m glad the Avs didn’t lay down, both Otter and Georgie played well. The better team won tonight.
These next 4-5 will be fun

I don't think they can, either. As big of a Stars fan as I am(since 94), I'd still give an edge to the Rangers over any Western Conf team, though. This from a guy that still has a game program from the inaugural season in Dallas and lived in NY with a BIL that's a huge Rangers fan.

6 on 4 coming or will COL waste it

Man I almost went to bed — glad I stayed up. Dallas needs to dig deep to prevent the collapse

Ice it with impunity.

Nice block there for the Avs on a likely empty netter. High stick for the waive off.
