He lined Toews up and led with shoulder to the head.

Clearly upper arm making contact with the shoulder.

Looked like a clean hit. Toews head was off to the side and the contact came to that shoulder/collarbone area.

I don't think he ever made contact with the head

He didn’t hit his head. Head was to the side.

I'm not saying it was a major penalty, there certainly was contact with shoulder also - but Benn looked up at Toews when he was coming in to head shot him. He just got lucky it wasn't clear. Benn has proven he is a dirty player before this is nothing new.

Just because the head moves does not mean the head was targeted

It was a clean hit, unlike the one the Av landed on Monday and was given the key to the city of Toronto

Disagree. It was a good, strong hit that didn’t contact his head. Play on.

I will agree it did look worse live than it actually was.

Ben lifted up when he made the hit. He if he when through the body it would’ve been clean.

So it’s a dirty hit because it looked like he intended to hit somewhere he didn’t?

Third unforced penalty. Avs look damn terrible - what are they doing out there.

If he doesn’t see an NHL forward skating directly into his chest, that’s a him problem.

Avs and Stars were separated by 2 wins in the regular season and so far Avs have won 4 of 5 games this year.

You cannot say the either team is better - these are very evenly matched teams.

Georgie is bailing out the Avs now
We need sustained offense
