Louisiana Secretary of State Race - Who you got?

I have no idea who I am supporting in this race.
I'm leaning towards Nancy Landry, but I am totally unsure. I legit know NOTHING about her personally. Everything I learned about her was from google, so I have no idea if her public statements are bullshite.
Kyle Ardoin was an organzied Secretary of State, which I think is the best you can ask for. That said, he lacked any curiosity for how to have more secure voting machines, he simply urged that our existing equipment should be updated bc it's old.
Nancy is his first assistant, so she obvioulsy knows the job, but then are she and Kyle of the same mind re: updating voting machines just bc they're old? Will new machines contain equipment that would permit them to be connected to the internet, or are we supposed to trust that the internet part is turned off? Nancy has advocated for some kind of paper ballot backup on the existing electronic machines. Since we just vote by trusting that our green "X" on our voting machine translates into our actual vote, I think a paper back up is probably a good idea. But is she anticipating that the ballots are still marked electronically as opposed to me showing up at my precinct and marking a scantron of some type.
Regardless, I'm mistrustful of election workers or manufacturers tampering with machine generated paper ballots during the counting process, or making sure we have chain of custody of the paper ballots that would permit an audit of them should it ever become necessary. (See: Ruby Freeman and barcodes).
I'm also concerned that bc the presidential election will be less than a yr away by the time Nancy gets in there; that the stellar wheels of government employees will not be up to speed on any new system. So if she tries to implement it, even under the best of conditions, our existing system which is largely reliable except for NOLA where everything is already corrupt, will turn FUBAR out of incompetence of gvt workers and short time to prepare for something completely new.
All that being said, I'm not sure that there is a sensible alternative to Nancy. It's not as if Clay Schexnayder isn't slippery and can always be trusted.
What are everyone's thoughts?

Francis. I feel like he’d do a good job and for selfish reasons if the occasion ever arose where I needed the Sec. of State for something I know he’d answer my call.

Landry is Kyle Ardoin 2.0 Weds. don’t do it.
Ardoin was in bed with Dominion and so is Landry. This position is more important than governor. We need to get away from these fricking machines.
Trosclair is the pick.

Trosclair. I think his positions on sone things are a little whackadoo because I don't buy all the Dominion nonsense.
But I know he isn't corrupt and he's as honest as they come. That's the best you can hope for.
