Feel free to rank or qualify in any way.

Even though I was there in the 90s, I have to say the mid 00s.
Winning tradition was strong (with usual ups and downs).
Rules/regs weren’t as strict.
Technology far enough along to give benefits of call phones, and lighter/thinner TVs for tailgating, Without having people with smartphones in their faces all day.
Just seemed easier but still awesome.

Right before they started charging $40 to park (or drive) on campus.

As others have said, it feels like 2003-2012 was really the peak. The program was on the rise. CFB was growing nationally. Phones made everything accessible, but hadn't quite taken over.

The gameday atmosphere for UF 2007 is 2nd to none. That was an all time day on campus with an all time atmosphere on the inside of the stadium. Even last year's Bama game, as great as it was, felt like a church outside campus before kickoff compared to 2007 UF.

We used to tailgate at the soccer field during mid and late 90s, which was a shitload of fun, and then in the 2000s we moved over to the area near the Greek Amphitheater where the band warms up before the big walk to “down the hill.” Both were awesome!

If the stadium is going to continue having a DJ and a host, I’ll just stick with tailgating going forward and drive home during the 1st quarter.

Late 80’s until Bertman moved the RV lot away from Nicholson Dr to touchdown village in the early 2000’s. It was a blast hanging out with the opposing fans on their way to the stadium.

early to mid 2000's.

We could still park on the grass lots by field house. HATT and KOR was a real deal. Many tailgating groups around the place. No paying to park everywhere on campus. Place was rocking.

There were a few games where the opposing teams bus was almost tipped over as they were approaching TS
