Definitely wear your gear and stop by any big tailgate and strike up a conversation. If the food smells good tell them so and enjoy the food and beverages offered to you. Chimes will be busy so be prepared to wait but you can drink while waiting. Your plan actually sounds pretty good.

Good luck and geaux tigers!

If you are familiar with the concept of rolling with the punches in boxing, that's how you'll need to be emotionally. Expect people to tease/taunt you. Be cool about it and 100% chance you'll be eating other people's food and drinking their alcohol.

Hey there. I live in NWA and went to LSU. Yes you can wear your hog gear 100%, but you can’t treat LSU fans the way y’all treat us when we come up. The poor sportsmanship and lack of understanding for Razorback fans have led y’all to think Death Valley is scary.

Expect good natured ribbing like “Tiger Bait” and have some generic fun natured comebacks. You do that and you will have a blast.

Usually friendly unless you aren’t or if you are the current starting QB and not Joe Burrow circa 2019 for the LSU football team.

1) Is it Ok to wear our Arkansas gear? We’re very friendly people and polite. Not looking to have stuff thrown at us or attacked. Just wanting to have a great day and enjoy the environment!

You WILL get Tiger Baited.

You will ALSO be offered drink and amazing food.
It's a good natured rivalry leading up to the game.

Your stadium experience and the walk back after depend on how well LSU does and how drunk the fans around you get.

If LSU wins...

Well, just hope LSU wins

But you'll be fine either way. Just don't get your panties in a wad or engage with assholes

Extremely friendly, but you’ll find some a-holes around these parts. TD fans are more knowledgeable about LSU football than most, but have a catastrophe syndrome and can be real pricks.

Hope you don't have seats near the student section. Stay away from anywhere they congregate.

We tailgate on the Old Front Nine. If we see you walking by we will definitely invite you for some food and drink. That’s something we typically do for visiting fans.
There will not be any badgering, etc. Just adult conversation and fellowship.
We treat visiting fans like we want to be treated when we go to an opponent’s stadium.

Unless you have a paid parking pass around the law school/bookstore area, or you get there early in the morning, parking around Dalrymple will be tough. Can probably still find a spot around the Parker Colosseum area by noon, but you still better plan to be on campus by noon for the first SEC game anyway. You can walk down Highland from Parker. The frat tailgates are at the Parade Grounds mostly, so may want to avoid that area if walking to Chimes. Don't be a dick, and don't get your feelings hurt by people telling you Tigerbait, and you'll be fine. Get a cheap bag cooler from Walmart, or some kind of disposable ice chest if you want to pack around beer all day. My go to if not tailgaiting is a big arse daquiri and a flask in the back pocket. You can always find a coke/sprite and ice at a tailgate somewhere to make more drinks.

I would say on the whole, like most people, they are nice when treated with respect.

Wear your gear! Be friendly! And most of all be ready to eat and drink more than you care too. Tiger fans will treat you right.
It will be the best tailgating experience you’ve ever had.

We're a tad better than the FSU fans I was surrounded by in Orlando.

Generally yes, but whether it be on this website or on campus, you’ll find some jerks.
