all over the place now on the interwebs is being blasted with NFL takes stand against kneeling posts lol

the most comical is the steelers coach tomlin, who literally fined and suspended a white guy on his team for not kneeling, when all this shite started. tomlin made the guy stay in the locker room until after the anthem was over, if he refused to kneel with his team mates.

they are trying real hard to remake themselves because they were suffering huge revenue loses and want to go back to the way things were before it was obvious they rig games and support anti-american hate and racism

The NFL is getting closer to its long-stated goal of $25 billion in annual revenue.

With Amazon’s new $1.2 billion media rights deal for “Thursday Night Football” taking effect last season, the league brought in nearly $12 billion in national revenue, according to Forbes — a 7% increase over last year’s $11.1 billion .

With teams’ local earnings added in, the NFL likely closed in on $20 billion in total revenue in 2022.

America’s true national pastime had a banner 2022.

The National Football League raked in an all-time-high $11.9 billion in national (equally shared) revenue during the 2022 season, 7% more than the previous year.

I think I saw the End Racism message in the end zone of the game last night. What a joke of a league.

I don’t remember this. I thought he kept the team in the locker room to avoid the “who kneeled” stuff.

Do you have a link to this? There was the Villeneuva guy that went alone onto the field during the Anthem when Tomlin tried to avoid the whole mess by keeping the team in the tunnel. No fines, though.

Bud Light sure spent a lot of money also with the NFL this weekend. Commercial was good but it is obvious they are trying to win back the working class people with that commercial.

Would like a link also.

On Villeneuva, he was 6’9 OT that happened to be a former Army Ranger Officer. He wasn’t the guy on that team to say no too.

I no longer partake of the NFL product. It’s the only path if you a repulsed by their conduct and business model.

The NFL is kept alive by cubicle dorks and their fantasy leagues.

It's a crappy league with a crappy product with zero competition.

I literally have a Villeneuva t-shirt hanging in my closet right now. I bought it on NFLShop.com the day I saw this:

Just for the record, Tomlin never fined him. He actually went to bat for him:

quote:

On Monday, Villanueva apologized for unintentionally throwing his team under the bus. Tomlin said Villanueva did not need to issue such an apology.

"I don't know why Villanueva was apologizing. He had nothing to apologize for. I guess he feels like he brought this upon us somehow and that's a shame," Tomlin said.
