I've got enough sunshine for all y'all.

State forced 5 turnovers Saturday against Arizona.

Despite that , they needed OT to escape them.

Arizona QB went 32/46 for 342 fricking yards , 2 TDs and 4 interceptions.

He rarely missed his mark, and when he did, he got picked.

And with five turnovers worth of possessions , Will Rodgers didn't even manage 200 yards passing.

State ran the ball well, 124 yards on 20+ carries. Decent. Enough to win that mess of a game.

Daniels can and will tear those guys apart.

Would also like to point out that despite forcing FIVE TURNOVERS, Arizona led in time of possession , first downs, and total yards. By a lot.

Arizonas leading rusher was that same QB I believe.

This isn't a game we have to win, it's a game that LSU SHOULD win. For fricks sake.

Anyone thinking we walk in and get handled need to rethink.

It's not even about being optimistic.

If LSU drops this one, things are FAR worse than anyone thought.

Mississippi State only threw the ball 17 times and they were very efficient when they did. That’s basically coaching malpractice to only throw it 17 times with Will Rogers at quarterback.

Will Rogers isn’t any good, he was just a a system QB under Leach. They don’t run that system anymore, thus he is what he is.

Joquavious Marks is by far their best player, so they run more.

Only if we stop the run, if not, we’ll be in trouble

MSU has a decent defense. They are also a ball control offense. LSU has no defense yet, and LSU is also a ball control offense. It will be a close game.

Its college football and teams play different games week in and week out. State may have been overlooking Arizona as well knowing we coming in town Saturday.

Outside of 2019, and even that game was ugly, LSU doesn't “floor” State in Starkville anymore.

It’s a road game in the SEC at 11 am. I’ll take a win however we can get it.

We got our arse beat by FSU, this is going to be a close game. We win by 3-7. We’re really a middle of the pack SEC team

Couple a ball hawking defense with a run oriented offense and that spells “disaster” for us. I think we have the better athletes but not confident the coaching staff will put us in an ideal position with scheme or play calling. I think you have to expect special teams is not going to turn it around for us either.

Initial thought is to come out offense blazing in the first half and play ball control in the second to preserve the defense. If Daniels and WRs don’t start off hot I’m not sure how confident one could feel about the second half. Same goes for the defense. The west is wide open, MSU is going to give us their best shot.

Just curious, if LSU is a middle of the pack SEC team based on a road loss to an FSU team that could win it all, who are the 5 or so teams that are the top of the pack and what do you base that on? You might be watching different SEC football teams than I am watching this year.
