some older guys might be best for one game but wont last the month of ball.

It can’t be all on Anthony Edwards or one guy to do all the scoring. Kerr refused to give anyone the green light except him and made everyone else role players. I think letting another guy take shots in the starting lineup would have helped

USA lost due to a key fundamental basketball, they as a collective don't box out. When the ball goes up, International players find a man to box out and secure the ball, American players continue to watch the ball and attempt to position themselves for the rebound. Germany and Lithuania killed the US on second-chance shots.

Is he, though? Take the 2 finalists, Serbia and Germany. How many NBA teams can they beat? How would they fare against NBA playoff teams? Conference finalists? Finalists? Champs?
I'm not convinced they'd be favored against any playoff teams.

Honestly, they need fresh coaching. Kerr has done nothing to adjust.

Hell yea he is! Erik Spoelstra is a way better coach than a guy who rode the back of two of best shooters of all time as well as had one of the best scorers of all time.

i do think the small population countries do this (for example take latvia which lost in round of 8 to Germany by 2.
latvia has one
nba guy. slovenia. just luka.
kerr was asked about using same team to get more continuity and role playing. like Serbia.
he said other guys should get to wear the USA uniform.
we have depth those countries do not."
