i am not saying that he's the biggest draw out there. maybe second or third was a stretch.

i'm sure weekend, drake, olivia rodwhatever, or something else are bigger. but i would say that his rise in the last two years is pretty meteoric.

And when has he supported Isbell?
shite, when has he not. Isbell is a monster influence on his writing...he does very few covers but does Isbell covers, he mentions Isbell as the goat more than once.

I am not saying he is AS political as JI, I am saying that it would not surprise me if he pulled something with the police.

I listen to him, I like him, he puts on a great show.

Looks like he’s still a copcuck even after being arrested for not being respectful to a pig. Rofl

I could have named 20-30 other people that fit this description before I would have named Bingham. I can't get into his music for some reason, he's only popular because of Yellowstone IMO

I’m not a huge fan of Bingham myself, but he has been very popular in the TX and OK country music scene for a lot longer than Yellowstone has been around.

some people are proud to be out of touch. Nothing at all wrong with not being privy to pop culture, but it doesn't make you special.

Yeah, his popularity and rodeo background landed him on Yellowstone, not the other way around. From a casual view he seems less popular since his casting there.

i can name about 4 or 5 Taylor Swift songs. I can't name a single Weeknd, dua lipa, doja cat, or sza song, but i know they exist.

Yeah, I knew folks loving on him since Mescalito. I just looked at his number and his only album after Yellowstone was his least well received.

I don't know why some of you get so offended when others aren't familiar with a popular artist.

"But he had eleventy billion streams last week!!!"

Who gives a shite? Particularly if people don't listen to his type of music. I've never seen Zach Bryan come across my Spotify because there would be no reason for him to. If that makes me "out of touch", that's okay.

Thanks to the reasonable posters who posted song suggestions though. I'll check them out later.

You act like this is some kind of leftist thing? Maybe the police overstepped their power and wanted to put someone famous in their place?
I would be considered right wing and respect the police as whole I don't go out of my way to boot lick or bow down to them and if they would come at me on a power trip I'm not backing down

It’s pretty gay when it’s someone who has been a chart topper for a decade. ZB is very new and it’s reasonable that people don’t know about him yet.

If you havent listend to Zach be interviewed, if you havent read his weekly tweets praising him, if you havent listend to his songs and can see the parallels......yeah, if you are completely ignorant to him and his years of proof otherwise....yeah, you could make a case that Bryan and Wallen are the same in their relationship with JI.

No, I see it is a my opinion is more important than all of yours thing becuase I have reached a level of fame. If most of those guys are leftists...that is a coincidence.

THey asked him to sit in his car. He refused. At that time they had zero idea of who he was...they had pulled over his security person.

Great. You fight inconsequential make believe battles all you want. If they ask my address, I will provide it, if they tell me they dont want me standing on the shoulder of the highway as they ticket my friend, I will understand that they are trying to protect themselves from crazy people. 323 police were shot in the line of duty last year, many on routine traffic stops, I dont see the need in making them more high strung...but that is just me.

You are conflating him looking up to Isbell musically to being some insane progressive and that somehow lead him to being arrested
That ridiculous

They pulled him over the day before and said if he didn't give him his address they were going to take him to jail

yea cop was just doing his job
