Anybody see updated Heisman odds from On3? Bad news for the off-season Daniels argument.

Last time I saw a mouth like that, it had a hook in it.

I kinda knew the off-season stuff wasn't accurate a week or so ago when Kelly said something like Daniels had improved in preparation, but we would have to see about performance. You could say that was because we hadn't played any games yet, but it caught my attention.

There’s 9 QBs on that list and that’s not even half that are better than JD.

Bo Nix will be on the Heisman stage this year.

Travis Hunter really impressed me. If Coach Prime keeps this rollin', it's his to lose.

When was the last time Colorado had 2 of the top 9 players on the Heisman odds list? Has to be a while.

Daniels has zero heisman hopes. None. Heisman winners don’t get blown out in their first game and, worse, shut out for an entire half (other than gargbage time). He is not a serious candidate for the heisman.

Well, what did you expect? And the difference between then and now means absolutely nothing.

If you think you are making a point, I am not sure what it is. Did you really think Daniels was winning the Heisman before the game?

Here are some numbers for comparison. # rank is by passer efficiency

#4 Caleb Williams(Southern California) - 2 Game, 36/49, 597 yards, 9TD(s), 0 Int(s), 236.42 PASS EFF

#15 Jordan Travis(Florida St.) - 1 Game, 23/31, 342 yards, 4TD(s), 1 Int(s), 202.99 PASS EFF

#13 Michael Penix Jr.(Washington) - 1 Game, 29/40, 450 yards, 5TD(s), 0 Int(s), 208.25 PASS EFF

#19 J.J. McCarthy(Michigan) - 1 Game, 26/30, 280 yards, 3TD(s), 0 Int(s), 198.07 PASS EFF

#12 Bo Nix(Oregon) - 1 Game, 23/27, 287 yards, 3TD(s), 0 Int(s), 211.14 PASS EFF

#34 Quinn Ewers(Texas) - 1 Game, 19/30, 260 yards, 3TD(s), 0 Int(s), 169.13 PASS EFF

#9 Jalen Milroe(Alabama) - 1 Game, 13/18, 194 yards, 3TD(s), 0 Int(s), 217.76 PASS EFF

#17 Shedeur Sanders(Colorado) - 1 Game, 38/47, 510 yards, 4TD(s), 0 Int(s), 200.09 PASS EFF

#54 Joe Milton III(Tennessee) - 1 Game, 21/30, 201 yards, 2TD(s), 0 Int(s), 148.28 PASS EFF

#66 Jayden Daniels(LSU) - 1 Game, 22/37, 346 yards, 1TD(s), 1 Int(s), 141.52 PASS EFF

Other QBs of note mostly noteable because I found their position interesting

#1 Michael Pratt(Tulane) - 1 Game, 14/15, 294 yards, 4TD(s), 0 Int(s), 345.97 PASS EFF

#2 Emory Jones(Cincinnati) - 1 Game, 19/23, 345 yards, 5TD(s), 0 Int(s), 280.35 PASS EFF

#3 Jaxson Dart(Ole Miss) - 1 Game, 18/23, 334 yards, 4TD(s), 0 Int(s), 257.63 PASS EFF

#11 KJ Jefferson(Arkansas) - 1 Game, 18/23, 246 yards, 3TD(s), 0 Int(s), 211.15 PASS EFF

#23 TJ Finley(Texas St.) - 1 Game, 22/30, 298 yards, 3TD(s), 0 Int(s), 189.77 PASS EFF

#31 John Rhys Plumlee(UCF) - 1 Game, 22/30, 281 yards, 3TD(s), 2 Int(s), 171.68 PASS EFF

#36 Haynes King(Georgia Tech) - 1 Game, 19/32, 313 yards, 3TD(s), 1 Int(s), 166.22 PASS EFF

#45 Will Rogers(Mississippi St.) - 1 Game, 20/29, 227 yards, 2TD(s), 0 Int(s), 157.48 PASS EFF

#47 Drake Maye(North Carolina) - 1 Game, 24/32, 269 yards, 2TD(s), 2 Int(s), 153.74 PASS EFF

#50 Spencer Rattler(South Carolina) - 1 Game, 30/39, 353 yards, 0TD(s), 0 Int(s), 152.95 PASS EFF

#99 Cade Klubnik(Clemson) - 1 Game, 27/43, 209 yards, 1TD(s), 1 Int(s), 106.64 PASS EFF

A loss will do that. Normally you can only lose 1-2 games the whole year if you are going to win the Heisman.

They saw enough in that game to know he’s still the same QB he was last year.

On the flip side, LSU soared to the top of every major sports outlet’s list of overrated teams.
