Tire widths noticeably difference?

I’m currently running a 305/55 on my stock wheels which measures in width around 12.03 wide. The new tires I’m thinking of grabbing are 285/60 which is a little bit taller of a tire but the width measures to be 11.22. Do you think this will be pretty noticeable or even look silly maybe going slimmer?

Are you just doing this or have you confirmed that the new size will even work on your vehicle? They're a certain size for a reason.

There are calculators online that'll show you visual representations of the different sizes next to each other. Also make sure you can fit that size tire without rubbing.

It will definitely look like your car has undergone a Lypo-suction procedure. Chubby chasers won’t like it though.

Why do you want to go slimmer?
The only benefits of going narrower are usually for winter snow tires and grip.
