Should they move him back to edge when he did well last season or let him still figure out ILB?

Did Perkins even play in this game?

I didn’t hear his name called.

The general consensus in the other 30 threads on the subject is that it was abysmal what Kelly did to neuter Perkins ability to be a game changer.

I think Perkins played back in coverage to give our atrociously average corners some help. Kelly knew our corners were terrible, that's why we didn't blitz Perk or others as much or we would have seen Coleman over Burns plays every single play

like it or not, Perkins was loafing, now the real question is why

he and devin white physically are very alike, and DW played MLB and never looked that unimpactful

It was just a question and it gets downvoted. Don’t know why.

Perkins can’t play like he did last year. He will be schemed “off the field”.

He was able to do it last year on pure athleticism. Teams will effectively take him out of the game if you line him up off the edge.

He needs to learn how to play linebacker or he’s going to be a pass rush specialist and a real linebacker that can make the right reads needs to be in there.

BJ Ojulari last year “ Perk man he raw. All he know how to do is make plays.”

Meaning, he has no clue what defense they are in or the offensive reads. He was flying by the seat of his pants.

He needs to learn how to play or he will look like he’s out of place every play.

No worries man. Folks will pop in all day long not realizing what was talked about already. That's why I gave you the general consensus comment. TD is always salty and after a deplorable loss...really salty...like dead sea salty.

No, but he just as well have been because he had zero impact in this game.

Square peg round hole type of role he played.
