Who still watches/trust the news?

Got into an argument with a buddy recently. I told him I haven’t watched or cared about the news in several years. This is a guy that’s always fired up over some politics. They can all suck a dick as far as I’m concerned. Do any of y’all still watch that crap?

I watch my local news for weather, traffic, sports, and local interests. The national news like Fox, CNN, MSNBC is all CIA/FBI generated propaganda.

The best news comes from independent researchers and patriotic journalists. I get all my news from luvamericanbazooka.ru, other blogs and my militia buddies.

I started getting tired of the "me too" bullshite years ago where every day it was a different person claiming they were harassed or assaulted, the George Floyd bullshite pushed me over the edge and I haven't watched local or national news since that whole thing.

Have no use for the news. I only watch the local weather if there is a storm coming or something. Otherwise, no. National news is a joke and a propaganda machine. I get most of the news from here.

I quit watching the typical news several years ago… aside from mudslinging, it was about murder, wrecks, stabbing, death, disease, destruction, famine, all of that bullshite

weather - useless. summer, hot. fall and spring, nice. winter, cold. it could maybe rain any given day…why watch it? you can open a weather app in 2 seconds if you really need to know if it’s 94 or 98 outside
traffic - bad. google maps will give you more accurate data anyway
sports - message board has it faster
local interests - aren’t local and are only designed to generally depress you
turn it all off and your life will be happier, none of it is truly important

I stopped watching Fox after they removed Tucker. I stopped watching the other networks ages ago. I now get my news from digital media, the likes of Russell Brand, Tucker on X, Megyn Kelly, Ben Shapiro, Glenn Beck. I consume as much of that content on YouTube.
