One poster said he’s gonna do that for us and is the right guy for that job.

Ok. Fine. Let’s discuss what that looks like.

Why is he holding on to all this deep state information and not sharing it? Within the powers of the executive, what exactly is he going to do to rid us of the swamp? Will the left take the strategy of tying him up in court using Lawfare. Will the congress suddenly join hands and push through his agenda enthusiastically.

What can he do other than EOs? Biden already wiped all his past ones out.

What will be different this time? No stupid impeachments to slow him down?

Why does no one want to talk about how this gets done? I want it done. I have no idea how he’s going to do it.

Any ideas?

First day in office fire half the government workers in DC. Doesn’t matter where they come from, just slash em and send them packing.

Term limits.
No trading of stocks while in office.

It’s a valid point OP and a question I’ve asked as well.

You get the impression anyway that some folks believe a return of Trump to the WH will usher in a virtual one man revolution and removal of the Deep State that we can cheer on from our keyboards.

Fact is even if Trump somehow does return, there would be a hostile and ready Establishment awaiting him.

He does not have an overwhelming amount of allies in the House or Senate. We don’t know yet if his own cabinet will be free of any backstabbers like he had last time.

Even the top levels of military leadership are aligned to the establishment now.

Draining the Swamp sounds wonderful and is definitely some red meat for a significant number of American voters.

How he’s actually going to do this in 4 years is the real question.

I don't know. Maybe there's something to voters actually sending a signal again to those so entrenched that such is what they want.

Or maybe, like you suggest, it's all futile.

What's the alternative method to "fighting" it at this point? I know you think it's rolling the dice in hoping someone else might be "that guy," but it seems to me the ongoing reaction to the other dude suggests maybe people are actually still over the target with him.

Eliminate classified information. All of it.

Remove the ability to classify anything.
No more state secrets.

What would Ron or Vivek do? There is only one way to clean out the corrupt Deep State, and since the Constitutional Institutions ARE the Deep State, you have to abandon the Constitution in order to accomplish such a task. The Dems have already done this IRL, though they disguise it as *Democratic* Constitutional 'interpretations'. The "living breathing Document" narrative.

Nothing short of DC being overridden with "pitchforks" will wrest power from them. The Founders knew this, and that is why the 2nd Amendment is second. Sad but true. Life is hard, but the good folk will get there.

They’re not gonna let Trump be President or even the nominee. Get it through your heads.

No one, or I should say, no President, is going to take care of anything. There is no savior coming as far as government is concerned.

It's not really possible. The bureaucratic machine is too strong. I think only Congress can reel it in, and they won't.

To Scott Fowler's post about classified information, despite my criticisms of Sundance/CTH, this is one thing he/she has done a good job of -- explaining how the mechanisms have been put in place to prevent anything damaging to the security state from being released. Cajunangelle probably has some of the links handy. You guys already know all of the arguments - national security, sources and methods could be jeopardized if we release that! I think it's ultimately the story of the fight in the Mar-A-Lago case. The machine is telling Trump that info is theirs, not his.
