and everyone knows it. No one seems to consolidate behind any candidate of substance so we will continue to live in the State of Disrepair for the next 8 years.
Edit:
For the down voters:
He's being backed by personal injury lawyers, and clearly cares more about national politics than fixing anything in the state. His own website is worthless and every time he opens his mouth it's just a sales pitch of feel good crap instead of any substance on how he would fix things like the growing insurance rates, crime, horrible education system, dwindling population, and deteriorating infrastructure.

Louisiana will never recover and will always be in contention for worst state in the Union

Not if they elect Xan John.

There are too many other places to run business across imaginary state lines that are leaps and bounds better economically than Louisiana.
Which is why a large portion of our educated and professionals are leaving every year.

There's a reason many on this board despise DeSantis so much
Competence and discipline are viewed as negatives among the LA voting base. They prefer theater and soundbites.

No you are a trolling antiLandry, communist bot and for grooming our children.
Screw you and your communist pac.

Here in lines the exact problem. People too concerned with national politics when we have far more local issues to deal with.
Do national problems affect us? Absolutely.
Will they ever help us get out of this hole? Nope.

I'm for handling the issues that face Louisiana. Fixing roads, lowering taxes where possible, and attracting businesses, and keeping the business that's here.
It seems like you're just here to be a shite poster and not help anyone or anything.

Landry turning out to be the biggest fake this state has ever seen. There is no way one be on both sides of the Trial lawyer/business fence.

How soon we forget that Jeff Landry was the only person in this entire state that went head to head with the draconian Covid decisions of Governor Retard. Jeff assured us that we had medical, religious and philosophical exemptions to any forced vaccines. He has my vote as the only person in this state with influence and power that exhibited an actual backbone.

No longer live in Louisiana but when I did it seemed gubernatorial candidates either engaged LABI or the trial lawyers to get their money and coalition.

Actually....I think that was a hit piece put out on him by Wag or others. I do not know of any trial lawyers supporting the guy on any organized scale.
But I agree....he is a POS.

Link to previous Landry thread on TDPB from earlier this week: NOLA.com article ReTrial Lawyere Supporting Landry
I saId “hit piece”, more accurately I’m talking about what this Armentor guy said in the article, that Landry told Armentor he’d play nice with the trial attorneys.

Huey Long and Edwin Edwards agree.

With all the cost that has been driven up due to trial lawyers, we don’t need another one in office. I’m voting for Hewitt.

I agree, another career lying politician. Been posturing for Tort Reform for years and now is filling his coffers with plaintiff attorney money.
Hmmmm, wonder why??? They are buying him already!
