The track has shifted west very close to Tallahassee.

Storm will be gone by the time we get to Tallahassee. I don’t see the point or the difference in waiting until Thursday to leave. If interstate is closed then we’ll stay at a hotel hopefully in Mariana. It’s a shitty situation. I’m more worried about gas than the roads or weather.

Storm might but with jt coming through that area tonight and in the morning you might not being able to get through that area until Thursday.

Having gone through Laura and Delta I can tell you powers lines will be down for weeks. Street lights will be out. Travel will be down to a crawl. Good luck driving to Orlando.

I live in Valdosta and right now not too bad. Lots of rain and the “eye” is about to make landfall. Next 5 hours will be critical.

Alternate route might be Hwy 84 from Dothan to Valdosta then pick up 75 south.

If I was driving to Orlando I’d def bring 5-10 gallons of gas with you. It may be hard to find from Tallahassee too Gainesville areas

I drove to Orlando yesterday (Tuesday). There was two hour stretch along the big bend area that was rough.

Gas was normal with no waits though and minimal traffic

So we treat it like we are in Baton Rouge.

I live in Marianna. No problem to get here but might run into trouble east of Tallahassee. You can pull up interstate cams online. I'm seeing lots of debris on I10 around Madison Fl.

Was looking at a few of these earlier but they weren't looping. Hopefully, the issues will be minor.

Bring gas with you. Seems like the right thing to do anyway so as not to backup the local stations when people are trying to get out/use it for generators

interstate will be the first thing they clear of debris and will reopen as soon as they can if it even closes

that is the main route to get supplies to those affected
