He is running huge leads in the GOP primaries, so I can't see Trump dropping out.

What's next for the Democrats? If they go to trial with Trump and can't convict him on serious crimes, isn't that just going to make him even stronger? Did the Democrats really think this thing through?

They will go to trial and convict him in DC. That also won't hurt Trump. The question is what happens next.

I think it's pretty obvious that Dems have crossed the Rubicon. They aren't going to stop. They are willing to do whatever it takes to keep Trump from being elected. That decision has already been made.

His indictments aren’t the only reason why he’s winning. Ron isn’t as popular as his supporters think outside of Florida. There’s a majority of the country who couldn’t tell you who the vp is but ppl here think a Florida governor is more known than trump.

Within the GOP? Sure. That’s the goal after all.

No. No one is undecided as it relates to Trump’s charges. Undecided voters are the biggest myth in American politics. Turnout is everything, and Donald Trump is the biggest turnout machine in the history of the Democratic Party.

It's a win-win for the democrats. Trump is someone Biden can acutally beat.

People need to accept the fact that this doesn't end with Trump either. There's a ton of folks who are whistling past the graveyard on this. If they could delete a political enemy or rig an election today, they'll do it again tomorrow. It doesnt end until we make it end.

That’s one way to explain the extra ballots.

I think you are referring to mail in ballots.

Let's assume there was no cheating and that most of the votes for Biden were actually anti-Trump votes. Do you think after seeing the disaster of the last 2 1/2 years that the Democrats will be as motivated by anti-Trump sentiment in 2024 as they were in 2020? None of those 81 million will have buyer's remorse?

I say that because I have a cousin with a draft age child who never paid much attention to politics. She voted for Biden because she didn't like Trump. She is horrified by this war in Ukraine and told me a few months ago that she does not believe that there would be a war in Ukraine if Trump were still President. I think Trump is going to push that point hard in the general election.

It's just so weird that an election with higher voter turnout in a nation with a higher population resulted in more votes. /s

Rejecting the mere premise that the 2020 election had higher interest and turnout than any election in recent memory is the single dumbest opinion held by Team Only Trump.

Yes, there were more votes because voting was expanded during covid to include mail-in bullshite. That toothpaste is not going back in the tube either.

Yes. I'd argue they hate him even more now than they did then. The hysteria, etc. would be exactly the same. They also now have abortion to run on and pin against Trump because stupid GOP members of Congress won't just shut the frick up on the issue.

No one --- and I do mean literally no one is "undecided" on Donald Trump.

And if Trump had some semblance of self-awareness or political acumen, running on such a position would be advantageous. But he's too obnoxious and self-obsessed to understand the importance of staying on message.
