Bech had a better freshman year than all those players you named except for Clayton.
He had injury issues last year. So you can't really make a full determination relative to the careers of those other players.

He can play, but you aren’t winning championships if he’s one of your top weapons.

Not really, he just had more opportunities. His freshman season was about equal to OBJ, YPC was significantly less than Jamar Chase and Malik Nabers. Nabers had 72 fewer yards (417 vs 489) on 15 fewer catches (28 vs 43) and 1 more touchdown (4 vs 3) than Bech. Chase had 313 yard receiving on 23 receptions with 3 TDs but only appeared in 10 games.
I didn't check on anyone but OBJ, Nabers, Chase, and Jarvis (Who only had 4 receptions his freshman year)
