People will say it’s a trap but really think Vegas has less of an idea of the teams the first few weeks of the season than any point. Granted there is always the purple and gold glasses

First couple of weeks is the best time to get Vegas. They probably know just as much.

Pro tips:

Step 1: In the NFL bet all the dogs, especially home dogs, in the first three weeks.

Step 2: Profit.

Everyone is going in blind. Including vegas. This is a game you stay away from. If you want to take from an emotional standpoint then by all means -2.5 all day baby!!

1st games are a crapshoot

Jordan Travis is a legit QB, as we saw last season

If anything, I’d bet the over/under if you have an inkling on that vs which team you think will come out better week 1.

Remember last year, LSU played like trash for 85% of the game and then FSU buckled harder than I’ve ever seen a team buckle late. And LSU still lost bc of extra point and field goal unit blocking.

Last year:

Harold Perkins didn’t play a single snap on defense;

Baskerville played very few plays.

Savion Jones played very few plays as did Sage Ryan.

LSU’s LT was playing in his first college game ever. Same for the starting TE. The Center was starting his first game at that position…ever.

Neither the OC nor DC had ever called a single play for the players on the field.

NONE of those factors will be present in next week’s game
