Eventually he won’t be a top 5 back.
Good luck picking when.

He's still a beast. An improved receiving group will possibly limit his touches slightly but they will also back some defenses out of the box making each touch more valuable.

Aging is undefeated but trying to pick when a great player falls off will drive you mad.

Henry is tough because he still has to be viewed as elite until he’s not. History tells us that it probably won’t be a slow decline, but he will fall off of a cliff at some point. It could be this year, next year or 3 years from now.

You have to decide if you want to take the risk of having him on your roster when he falls off that cliff. Personally, if he’s there at the end of the 2nd and into the 3rd I’d probably take the risk.

I’m banking on one more elite year for Henry. Won’t hesitate to take him in the mid 2nd round as my anchor RB. Next year and beyond, I’m a little more cautious.

No way he makes it to the 3rd round unless you’re playing with a bunch of idiots.

I didn’t say that’s where he’s falling. I said that’s where I’d be willing to pull the trigger.

Late 2nd.

This is all it is right now. You have to spend an early 2nd to get him and I think there are better picks there.

Late 2nd and I don’t think I’d be able to pass it up. The RBs going there have their own risk and I don’t like taking QBs that early.

He’s my top RB in a 14 team league. Was able to get Waddle and Burreaux as my top WR and QB. If (a big IF) those three stay healthy I feel good about my prospects.

I'm actually normally really high on him, and think a late 2nd rounder is decent value. He's always had volume, but I wonder if Spears can play well enough to cut into that.

I don’t see Spears as a threat to Henry’s usual carry totals. He’ll have a role no doubt but Spears’ size and knee issue suggest to me that he isn’t a guy who can tote it much.

Won’t be taking him. I’d rather miss on him having a great year than pick him early and him fall off.
