Bone structure also helps the man. It is easier for him to control her wrists, as the diameter will be smaller and his hands larger. The difference in gender is just too much for n avg 200# man and a 135# woman.
A woman’s wrist is the size of two of my fingers. She can try to choke me all she wants, I can grab her wrists and move her arm wherever I want. She’s not strong enough to hold it in place, even with whatever perceived leverage you idiots think BJJ gives this 135lb weakling. She isn’t Gracie. Gracie may have been smaller than the guys he fought, but his strength may have been equal, and at worst only slightly less. A 175lb man can be nearly as strong as a 225lb man. A 135lb woman is like a child compared to a 200lb man.

No we want a true fight. Not a jiu jitsu or bjj class. That isn’t the question
So here is the deal, as an untrained fighter, can you take 4 strikes from Nunez before getting close enough to man-handle her? She will get in at least 4 strikes (punches, kicks, maybe even a knee) for sure. While I agree it is improbable she can knock out a large man with one strike, she doesn't have to do that, she just has to stun you enough to gain the advantage.
Also not sure how many people here have taken a punch from a professional fighter. I have (with head gear and body protection), probably 75% power. Unless you are used to doing this you your body will react in ways you are not expecting.

She also has to think how she will react to a strike from a grown man. In the history of mankind that usually ends very bad for females. But maybe MMA stopped the human biology conundrum

This is a candy arse response dude. You could be an OT legend. But we know you won’t.

You do know every sport that allows trannys into competition, is completely dominated by the "chicks with dicks" right? I'll wait for the inevitable response in regards to "skill".

These women grapple and spar with grown men during training camps.

There’s an offer on the table to go do it. I’ve also told you this isn’t an uncommon thing and how to go do it. Why makes excuses instead of going to do it
Separate issue, what’s your obsession with trannies? Do you want to mount one of them like your old wrestling days? fricking weird dude.

Are the grown men 70-100 pounds heavier and trying to bash their skulls in?

Seriously if he will do this we can setup a live stream and make it a fund raiser or something. Would be fricking epic.

Is it jj only rules? If I find a chick to do MMA rules are you agreeing to do it?

There is an offer for a jiu jitsu session.
Any man that willing accepts a fight with a woman where is soul goal is to decimate her is a psycho. I stand by that.

I'm starting to believe you might be a little slow on the uptake.
The words used in the OP's topic is "beat" and "mma". Last time I checked, an MMA fight is won by KO, submission, or on points. Strength and size disparity would be to massive of a hurdle to over come. Best a woman could hope for, is to keep distance and hope for one punch/kick KO.

Here's the other thing- if you haven't won in the first 45 seconds you're done on conditioning alone. The average man off the street is gassed out after a minute tops.
The average dude, even if in just average shape, can't run around in a ring and fight for more than 1 minute before being completely gassed. And the idea that ANY 200lb dude can walk right up to her, grab her and take her out is just not realistic.
So you have to follow her around the ring and get a hold of someone who is likely faster and quicker than you and has elite level grappling skills in avoiding getting taken down and the average OTer has literally zero skills and has never even attempted that before.
Again, just the idea, that you can walk in and take her out in 20 seconds seems a bit naive.
That being said, a takedown is the only option for the average 200lb dude. There would be no chance to out punch her, none if you have zero training. But a takedown due to strength is certainly possible, I'm just arguing it's not the very obvious and easy given like many seem to be claiming.
There is absolutely some level where a certain amount of size and being in physical shape will be too much to overcome, but I don't think it's 135 vs 200 when 200 has no training and isn't in great shape.

Whatever dude! these guys played high school sports. One of them even wrestled.

quote:Correct, and they'd also do the same to an average OTer, so that didn't prove the point you or Teddy thought it was proving.
A good 16-17 year old mma fighter would kill Nunes in under 30 seconds too. Kill her if he wanted to
Hell doesn’t even need to be mma. An all American 17 year old high school wrestler in the 132 pound division would break her in half

A 14 year old boy is my comparison to Nunes and other pro female athletes, not a 16-17 year old

quote:no it’s not. 135 is the largest weight class for female fighters. It would be like Daniel Cormier benching 315 which he probably does. A 135 pound person benching 165 is not unreasonable
So 80% of the world record for her division? Jesus Christ That’s the equivalent of Demetrius Johnson benching 315
