Seems like people were out of power for extended period in BR. Sleeping in hotels. Good luck charging your car.

Then why did Biden drain a significant portion of the petroleum reserve prior to the midterms?
He do the republicans a favor?

In comparison to batteries for combustion engine vehicles, most signs point to electric vehicle batteries lasting a significantly long time. On average, EV batteries can last from 12-15 years in moderate climates. However, if you find yourself in the position of having to pay for a battery replacement, it could be quite expensive. Batteries cost between $10,000-$12,000 not including installation.

That is a car for the singles, generic, cookie cutter city folk.
When will they have a Yukon XL size model? People have a family and things to haul. It needs to have at least a 500 mile range like my XL gas burner. 20 + mpg, by the way.

Until you hook something to the bumper. Then you are looking for a plug and a comfortable seat to sit 45 mins every 100 miles.

Which, in the sane part of the country, will be a long while before it’s at that cost continually.
Because when fuel starts approaching 4 bucks a gallon in the sane parts… what does the voting bloc tack at #1 on the issues?
Even the climate alarmists in govt now rubber stamped supply increases to save their positions in the last election.

At $35 per week for fuel you are spending almost $22,000 on gas in 12 years.

1 it’s going to be a long time before you need to replace it
2 the prices will be much different when you do
3 there is already a developing secondary market for used batteries to be deployed as utility scale storage so factor that salvage value into your equation.

That's probably because their state government is banning gas/diesel engines. I'd move away before getting stuck with that bullshite.

This shite makes me laugh at the naivete that some people have. You think they just make more electricity and more transmission lines instantaneously? When the California power grid is already having rolling blackouts, do you think it's not already at full capacity? Also, do you actually think the government will permit more power plants to be built? No, let's cover every square inch that isn't an open pit lithium mine in solar panels.

Tell me you don't know anything about California without telling me you don't know anything about California.
ETA: As long as people keep voting Democrat, you'll soon know exactly why your statement makes no sense because you'll be living it.

They are essentially telling us "Qu’ils mangent de la brioche" at every turn, see the your dollar is worth $0.74 today and was projected to be worth $0.73, now give me $0.03 for making that happen.
why is the government trying to make people buy more of them and instating more mandates for fuel efficiency
