Looks like the sycophants favorite choice for VP loves playing the same race baiting "victim" as the left.

the ultimate argument to "diversity is our strength" is simply to respond "why?"

whoever is making that assertion is so used to just stating it as a fact that they will crumble trying to explain in 10,000 words why. they never really have an answer that doesnt include the word "diversity" or some synonym in it.

"well diversity is our strength because diversity of thought is so important"

"why?"

"well because having a wide variety of perspectives is so important"

"why?"

spoiler alert - they cant get to why.

I had the IRL discussion with a co-worker. She was a very intelligent left wing Jewish lady from North Carolina.

She said 'diversity is our strength.'
Me: 'Why?'
Her: 'We're a diverse nation.'
Me: 'That's a statement of condition, not preference. If a nation's strength depends on diversity then Japan is the most primitive country in the world.'
Her: 'Well, I don't really want to talk about it.'

i can argue in very simple terms "why" diversity is not necessarily a strength. my point is that the "diversity is our strength" crowd cannot. but yes, point taken.

for instance, when i am told that forcing women into the infantry in the Marine Corps is actually making our infantry stronger, i can very simply explain that on a macro scale women are physically smaller, slower, and weaker than men and that makes them objectively worse at fighting.

but if someone is arguing FOR women in the infantry, and they say that "diversity of gender makes the infantry stronger", i can just reply "why?" and watch them implode.

You just posted about whites need to be worried about not being the super majority. Stop trying to start race arguments. If you think all people that look alike think the same you're a moron.

Diversity is our strength is a marketing slogan for an immigration policy not a substantive proof of fact.

Diversity, in and of itself, is not a bad thing. Yes, the USA was founded and started largely by WASP. But over the course of (nearly) 250 years a lot of different people from a lot of different places helped build it into the greatest country known to man.

However, forced "diversity" simply for the sake of diversity IS a bad thing. Many times people are forced into roles they simply aren't suited to perform based on nothing more than superficial traits such as gender, skin color, sexual orientation, etc that have NOTHING to do with merit or ability. For the employer it results in inefficiency, higher costs, and poorer work that trickles down to the rest of society. For the employee, it results in failure, a lack of growth, feelings of inferiority, and lack of respect because they can't do the job/work.

The country has changed a lot over the past several decades. While forced integration may have been somewhat necessary at some point, it isn't now. Very few companies are going to pass on a highly qualified woman, or black man, or gay man who can produce big time results/profits for the company in favor of a useless white male. I'm sure every single one of us has worked with someone who would be considered on the "diversity" specter who was excellent in their role and thus, had the respect of everyone they associated with, regardless of skin color or gender. But forcing someone into a role they can't perform simply because they fit the right diversity category doesn't help anyone. The job won't get done well and no one will respect the employee because of it.

I never asked her opinion on Israel. But she had an interesting opinion for a feminist. She bitched about the lack of women in STEM fields but she didn't blame it on men. She blamed young girls for dismissing the importance of math and being afraid to take advanced courses in HS math/science.

You seem to think our (the US)'s cultural and racial diversity is a problem? If so, how would you go about solving it?
