So, Watergate was one of biggest stories of the 20th Century.
And that was over a President having knowledge of some underlings snooping around some campaign headquarters.

Biden is being accused of treasonous activities with our biggest threat in China.

And, seriously, crickets from the media? Inaction from "Republicans".

Not even close. Biden administration and the FBI's treatment of Trump is way worse. It's not even in the same zip code.

Everything in DC is about Trump. Every single thing. It's a sickness.

If it helps Trump, silence.
If it proves Trump was right, silence.

If it rains, someone has to evaluate how it touches the Trump issue.

Short sighted, self serving Republicans have swallowed the most outrageous acts from phoney Russian collusion to fraudulent elections to Biden corruption because Trump was the victim and fighting against it looks too much like defending Trump.

I would never thought I would actually believe this about my own government

The 2 biggest power flexes in Deep State History were the Kennedy assassination and the Watergate set up.

They got their guy in the Oval on both occasions.

Biden, by comparison to Nixon, wasn’t set up by the Deep State. He was covered up by it.

Such a mind frick cannot be tolerated in a free society

Watergate is like a mosquito on an elephant's arse compared to the Biden crime family.

Two near certainties IMO:

Donald J Trump will die in prison if he does not kill himself as an out.

Biden will never be convicted, much less indicted, much less accused of any crime by any prosecutor in any jurisdiction.

There is a lot of speculation the Bushes put the hit on Reagan, too.

To OP's point, Matt Taibbi had this to say when it came out that Blinken solicited the Russian disinfo letter about the laptop.
quote:

An all-time media blackout is in effect. We’re experiencing real-time Sovietization.

It transpires that the infamous incident before the 2020 election in which 50 former intelligence officials signed an open letter declared a New York Post expose about Hunter Biden’s laptop to have the “classic earmarks of a Russian information operation” was instigated at the behest of the Joe Biden campaign. This at least is the allegation in a letter to Secretary of State Anthony Blinken released by Jim Jordan, chair of the House Judiciary Committee, and Subcommittee on the Weaponization of Government.

In that letter, which is not easy to find, you’ll see three snippets of dialogue from questioning of Morell, who appears to have organized the open letter. In the first snippet, he explains that the idea originated with a call from Blinken, then of the Biden campaign, and that absent that call, Morell wouldn’t have done what he did:

quote:

By any marker, this is an enormous news story. If we go by the usual measuring stick of American scandal, the Watergate story, this potentially meets or exceeds that, on almost every level. Does it reach into the current White House? Check. Was it a craven attempt to subvert the electoral process? Check again. Did a presidential candidate engineer a massive public deception? Yes, resoundingly. Did it involve intelligence agencies? Yes, and these weren’t amateurs like Nixon’s plumbers. These were 50 of the most powerful people in the intelligence world — including five former heads or acting heads of the Agency in Morell, John Brennan, Leon Panetta, Michael Hayden, and John McLaughlin — conspiring to meddle in domestic politics on a grand scale.

Ultimately, the GOP turned against Nixon when his lies were exposed. They defended because they accepted his word on what he said told them about the recordings. When that ended up a lie, they turned on him. The press never liked Nixon and were relentless in going after him. With Biden, the press is supportive and the Democrats are sticking with him. Until they turn on him, this goes nowhere. Also, the American people are much dumber today than in the 1970s, so the attention span and interest is on some bimbo on Twitter.

The FBI, MSM, Big Tech, and the DNC, conspired together to deceive, censor, and propagandize the public in order to influence the 2020 election, and maliciously overthrow the sitting POTUS via subversion.

The GOP didn't "turn against" Nixon. He proved himself to be a liar, and unlike today's leftists, they didn't want to support a proven liar.

Geoff Shepard is an excellent source of information for Watergate. I think that John Dean had a larger active role in that scandal than most people realize.

G Gordon Liddy would often allude to this.

Evidently, Liddy’s book “Will” is accurate and verifiable.

It isn't just the Bidens, there will be plenty of Rs on the list if the truth ever hits the light of day.

Trump will never spend a night in jail. You have bumped your head.
