I have been waiting for them to transition my stuff but have not heard from them.

Anyone had any trouble during the transition?

My Ameritrade account states that transition will begin in 44 days from today on or around Sept. 1st.

We were notified of the change.

No change as of yet. I think we were told sometime in September also.

mine changed over last winter. no issues. I was already familiar with Schwab as my wife's Simple IRA is with them.

So does this mean that there will also be a change from Schwab's kinda decent Edge platform to TD's better Think or Swim? I already live on Schwab, have been wondering if we would get ToS at some point.

I know some who have gone through this process, and their beneficiaries were wrong. Anyone who's gone through it might want to check theirs.

They will not give me a hard date but they do admit the September target they had for everybody will not be met. I have not gotten my official move notice yet and that is suppose to come 90 days before they migrate the accounts.

They transitioned my account in May. No issues with Schwab so far.

Yep. Definitely keeping ToS. That was the main reason behind the TDA purchase. Us degenerate traders generate great fee income. The larger Think or Swim accounts are also what my rep said they were trying to be most careful about not upsetting, because Tom Sosnoff’s TastyTrade is making some very attractive bonus offers to those who switch over to his firm.

Labor Day weekend is the target date for most accounts to be migrated over from what I was told last week.
