Seems like he was in line to be a key piece on the edge at LSU.

He wasn’t good enough & got passed up on the depth chart. Looks like he’s doing fine at Arky though

Wilson Alexander tweet

Former #LSU defensive end Landon Jackson is here with Arkansas, where he transferred after his freshman year. Sam Pittman said he has gone from 236 to 280 pounds and still running over 20 mph.

He couldn’t get on the field. To many really good players in front of him.

I’ve noticed under Pittman Arkansas has tried to mimic the Wisconsin method on defense if you get my drift

Wonder how many blocking dummies he's owned since transferring.

Ok? That means he’s good enough to play at Arkansas.

Doesn’t mean he’s better than Ojulari, Ali Gaye, Savion Jones, etc

In the transfer portal era, guys don’t wanna wait to see the field. He can go to Arkansas to get his stats & finish 5th in the SEC West.

It appears that he didn't want to wait a few years before getting playing time. He's become a solid SEC player who just needed some time to develop his body and skills. He should have a nice year for Arkansas in 2023.

LSU was coming off a 6-7 season with a new coaching staff coming in.

I think Arkansas was his 2nd choice out of high school too.
