I think people put more into the RHP/LHP situation more than they should. Nice to have some balance, but if you shove you shove no matter what arm you throw with.

Paul?

J/K I agree with you. If we were all RHP I think it’s a problem, but not really the other way around.

We should be able to find a couple of guys out of these 11 options

Kade Woods
Christian Little
Bryce Collins
Sam Dutton
Will Helmers
Kaleb Applebey
Jaden Noot
Micah Bucknam
Aiden Moffett
Fidel Ulloa
MJ Seo - I'm assuming he'll be pitching for us

Also have Hurd, possibly Guidry, & possibly Holman. We REALLY need Holman

I'm not complaining, just discussing the makeup of the staff. Obviously another poster said, you can either shove or you can't no matter which arm you throw with and if we were gonna be heavy with one type of pitcher, I'm glad its lefties.

When they look at it, I think some of those RHP will be the first to be trimmed.

They really need Holman.

I like a lot of the lefty arms but it’s a little imbalanced & overkill at the moment.

who really complains about having too many good lefties and not enough good righties.

Lefties have an innate advantage. Fewer of them - batters see the ball from an arm angle they are not used to and the pitches break in the opposite direction. Easier for them to hold a runner on first.

Having a flame throwing right hander like Skenes made Coop's job a lot easier, because batters not only had to adjust to a lefty, but a lefty who threw 10 miles an hour slower.

So, yes, we need more balance, but I'll take too many lefties over too few, everything else being equal.

What leads you to believe this?

he had a 10 appearances where he gave up had 11.1 IP 1 ER 4 H 8 BB.

Rough start and rough end of the season.

he has a mid 90s fastball and a curveball that plays. but for some reason they send him out there to throw 20 curveballs in a row.

I remember you spending an entire season crying about not having enough lefties.

I guess this season will be we have too many.

I really wish JJ would find a way to have the appropriate amount of lefties to satisfy you.

He should also get rid of Milazzo because he will never be able to improve his batting average above .200, according to you. He should also not start Ty Floyd according to you.

Just imagine if JJ would listen to you, maybe he would be able to win a national championship.

If the stats say everybody in the SEC hit worse against lefties wouldn’t having more quality lefties make us a better team?

The season PM had one LHP, and he got hurt, so they had none?

It’s not a complaint, simply an observation.

It’s ok to take off a day of being the take police lil guy. When I give a take you will know it, then you can add it to your spreadsheet

Had to have TJ surgery. He may not be available to pitch all next season. They will have to make a decision in February to take a chance if they think he will be ready by May. He will have to take a roster spot on the 40 man if they expect him to pitch at all and the 40 man roster has to be decided before the first game of the season.

I saw Luke, his dad and Jay eating breakfast this morning off of Perkins. Fingers crossed he wants to be a Tiger.

And one of these guys might not pitch a whole lot, but it would be because he is successful at middle infield which in turn is beneficial.

I remember that season where PM coached an entire season with zero lefties pitching! Now we have an abundance of lefty arms. Just makes you wonder how PM could have put the team in the position he did that year, regardless of the injury to his 'one' lefty...

I think he’s more concerned about how many RHP we have.

it’s a balance thing.

Who was the pitcher that was hurt most of this season but returned earlier than expected and pitched a few innings?
