As a prescription for weight loss. Costs, dangers, effectiveness. If Germans, mea culpa.

Cost- high as giraffe arse unless covered by insurance. Compounder versions are an option but also really costly.

Dangers- None identified yet except some mild GI discomfort but I’d be willing to bet it’ll be less than being severely overweight.

Effectiveness- very impressive so far

I think there are downsides like muscle loss but the upside is much greater if you are obese.

Instead of shooting some unknown shite into your body, how about the gym and diet?

I kid….a little. If you are too morbidly obese to hit the gym or go for walks then I don’t have a problem with it. It beats the alternative of dying. If your 50-70lbs overweight and just undisciplined and lazy, then you’re just undisciplined and lazy.

It's a peptide. Guy who invented noticed gila monster lizards or some kind of lizard would go a long time without eating. Decided to figure out why and discovered a hormone that regulates blood sugar. LINK

It's probably just as safe as any other peptide, I don't know why anyone would be mad about people losing weight.

Maybe they learn what they need to eat, maybe they lose enough to motivate them to the gym or maybe they gain it all back.

Since Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) is a peptide, why not purchase it from a peptide manufacturer like Peptide Sciences? It sells there for about 1/6 of the per-fill drug cost.

Worked great for about the first month cutting my appetite. Did drop my A1C down to 5.1 though.
