Been debating the Dolphin Nautilus, the Nautilus CC, the Explorer 30, or the S200. My new pool will be finished and I'm paralysis by analysis over here.

I have the Nautilus CC Plus - about 8 years now, only one I’ve owned so I can’t compare, but I’ve been happy with it.

Dolphin Nautilus

I have owned this unit for about three years and stays in the pool almost all the time unless we are swimming. Take it to clean the basket and invert occasionally when out of the pool to recalibrate the buoyancy. I will NEVER own a polaris again. It is well worth the cost.

My new pool

fun fact: all new pools are required to have domed drain covers. dolphins (all of them) will get caught on the drain all the time. there's literally no fix; don't let the guy selling the little clip thingie that you snap to the drain cover fool you.

having said that, i love my dolphin but it would be nice if someone would invent a retrofit or something that would fix this super-annoying problem.

The "it dont happen to me" crowd has older flush drain covers so ignore them. it will 100% happen even w/ the latest & greatest dolphins.

bring this up w/ the pool company/website you're ordering from and see what they have to say.
