Plz draft a running back in the 1st round this year, we need a powerfull bruiser RB

No running game = team will suck

If not a back in the first, how about a roadgrader offensive lineman like Herman Johnson and then follow it up with a power back later on.

payton clearly doesnt beleive in a power running game, so why would we waste our 1st round pick on a running back we arent going to use?

Based on what?? We don't have a cabable power RB, and we have the best QB in the game...what exactly should he be doing differently?

No good run blocking OLine = no running game.

Draft a LT. And then find some defensive depth.

How about we focus on defense in the first round since that is the obvious defiency on the team. Also good running backs are always available in later rounds.

we need a better oline before we get a RB

we need OL, S, and OLB before RB

we were running the ball for 7+ ypc against Carolina, reggie had over 9 ypc and we air it out 3 plays in a row (leading to a fumble)

I really dont think the line is the problem. I think bush just isnt a good rb and he just so happens to get the majority of the carries. pt and stecker have or had no problem running behind the line, deuce ran well behind the majority of these guys before blowing out his knee again. the only guy that has had issues is bush. carolina has one of the best lines in the league and they got stonewalled by the falcons yesterday for the most part. when you throw the ball 50 times with the other team knowing you arent going to run consistently of course someone is going to put pressure on the qb.

We need a better O-line and better defensive secondary. All this fascination with a RB and more offensive playtoys for Petyon to go crazy with and call more stupid plays is just a recipe for failure.

We need a good solid defense with the ability to defend the pass. We also need a better O-line to be able to establish the run with, as well as protect our franchise player. We can trade with another team or pick up a free agent RB.

We don't need more toys for SP. He's shown already in 3 years that he behaves like a kid in a candy store when he gets to play offense, while ignoring the defense. At what point do people say they've seen enough?
