Any fixes to this? Golden retriever is pissing brown spots all over my back yard.

There are multiple threads on this.

The only solution I've found is to saturate the area right away with a garden hose.

The dog supplements and lawn treatments I've tried from Amazon have been worthless.

I have a Husky/GSD mix and his urine does not discolor grass. My son’s Goldens’ urine will turn grass tan in one day. Crazy how that works.

Is your dog older? Our lab did this in his latter years, likely when his kidneys were not performing as well. No issues with the lawn when he was young.

If you can train him to piss on only dallisgrass, I’ll buy him from you.

Our dog does the same thing. I’ve just learned to live with it.

With my dog, it was food. I had switched him from Pro Plan to Authority (Petsmart brand) to save a few bucks and he about destroyed the lawn.

I've found the ones that work for us are Diamond Naturals, 4Health (which is just Diamond Naturals) Pro Plan, and Kirkland. Just about anything else and he'll leave hot spots.

I'd get that dog to the vet. No reason any animal should be pissing brown spots.

At our previous home, we made a 6x6 area in the corner of the yard, filled it with smooth landscape rocks and trained our lab to just pee in there.
