I think Hoover PD waits another day or two, makes some statement that this is closed and confirms that there is no threat to the public. They probably come to an agreement with Carlee & her family that they won’t pursue any charges as long as she doesn’t cling to the BS story.
Agreed.
But Carlee won't give it up. We know she'll capitalize on this. You can tell from her social media identity.
And she's gained like 5000 followers on IG alone. You know some Gen Z thirst trap psycho is going to do all she can to keep the momentum going.

The girl lives in Jefferson County, the abduction took place in Jefferson County.
If any Red Roof Inn has some involvement there is not one in Shelby County.
Essentially for those who are unfamiliar, Jefferson County is Birmingham proper, where you'll find more liberal DAs, etc.
Shelby County is your rich, white flight County immediately south of Jefferson County.
Do note that the abductions, her parent's home, etc. while in Jefferson County, is very close to the Shelby County line.
So it is confirmed she was abducted? The article I read yesterday did not comment on anything other than she returned home. What happened to the child?

you listen to the dispatch log the sister in laws 911 call reporting the scream was pinged at Atkins trimm lane which is very close to where she parked.
Am I reading this right? The SIL is pinged close to the “abduction” site? They can’t be that dumb

I'm pretty sure ECB meant the alleged abduction. He isn't saying it actually happened.

Roger that. Pretty intrigued to what actually happened considering the whole story about her pulling over to attend to a toddler on the interstate who was by itself wandering around, if that in fact never happened

I’ve said this pretty much from the beginning. She had help. The spot she chose to park wasn’t random. It’s the only spot, the best spot to park and access the neighborhood behind it. The reason she drove so long in the emergency lane was she was looking for a specific mile marker. More than likely the SIL who is actually her brothers gf was parked in the neighborhood waiting to pick her up. This pretty much confirms it

Oh, I think you underestimate the stupidity of the average American. Yes, she can be that dumb.

I've pretty much come to that conclusion after seeing how the video unfolded.

I'm looking at the parents' fb pages, hadn't seen this video before. How can someone do this to their parents or loved ones? Parents definitely were not in on it. I feel so bad for them. Also begs the question,
how do kids "go wrong", if you raise them correctly...

Is there any validity to this or just someone on this board with inside sauces?
Twitter has quite a few people saying they saw her at the party that night and she wanted time with the baby daddy. It seems pretty non-controversial among those at the party that she was there and with the 17 year old.

Atkins Trim Lane is ~400-ft away from where she parked her car. If the sister-in-law was there when she called 911, then she dumb.
But it would make sense as to why she called her sister-in-law after 911. Wanted to ensure she was there to pick her up.

If the SIL was part of the hoax, and she gave false statements to the cops, isn't that a chargeable offense?

It just doesn’t make any sense. She’s 25!?!
Like, just go?
I could see her and the brother/SiL planning something (money scheme, racism hoax) and she decided to go kick it with friends while everything unfolded. Her brother’s comment on his video (which he deleted) makes me wonder if they thought it wouldn’t get much press coverage and they could “start a conversation.”
But I have no fricking idea. I’m just bullshitting on a message board.

That's a downright shame. Her parents were obviously terribly distraught and this could have lasting effects on them.

How old is said baby? If the baby daddy is 17 now, he was at most 16 when she got pregnant, right?

Looks like her mom is a realtor too. Could have a negative impact on her career. How can a 25 year old be this clueless?

If the SIL's call was truly pinged at that street in the neighborhood then that confirms this is a hoax.

Not really being discussed from what I’ve seen but it’s a mathematical probability. I think the reason she lied to be with him that weekend has something to do with his age.
I’m confused about the boyfriend thing. The boyfriend who was putting out videos isn’t the 17 year old, right? Was she cheating on that boyfriend with the 17 year old baby daddy? Or was that boyfriend the 17 year old and he knew it was a hoax the entire time bc he was with her?

Nah. Most people still assume the mom is a genuinely nice person that was worried about her daughter from the press conference. People won't avoid her because her daughter is dumb arse.
