He told the coaches he wants to play SS and they told him he will get his shot there.

I don't think he stays strictly in the pen unless he outright loses both the SS and 2B jobs.

I also hope his soreness isn't elbow related.

Guidry isn't leaving. I will say, he needs to compete for his spot in middle infield. If he wants to play he needs to get reps and perform well, the spot will not just be given to him.

His spot on the mound, however, is his.

The depth isn’t good enough to not give him a chance

Move Guidry to 3B and Tommy to 1B and have Jones DH if Travinski doesnt come back.

He was playing for Rougarou. Ronnie Rantz said on the radio yesterday he had one start and woke up the next morning with a sore arm so they shut him down for the summer. At least that’s what I understood; he was talking about it as I turned the radio on.

Is Reaves actually coming to LSU next year? Saw an article that he's staying at Blinn.

It doesn't make any sense but I have never found anything confirming whether or not he will be at LSU in 2024. It's a confusing situation for sure. Guess we will have to wait to find out.

He'll definitely get a chance at being an infielder. Is he good enough to win the job next year? I don't think any of us really know, but he'll 100% get a shot and at least probably be a backup, which he wasn't this year.

Braswell started at 3b , 2nd , and ss he might be a utility platoon guy whenever somebody needs rest or gets injured . If hill from asu comes the infield gets that much more crowded

Do you have to intentionally try be as dumb as you are on here? Or is it just something to comes naturally?

I don't think the middle infield is crowded at all.

Braswell, Nippolt, Guidry, Milam is what we have currently. There is very little experience between that bunch, and not a ton of production from the experienced members.

I think it more likely—assuming another big arm or two comes by way of the portal—that Guidry is your starting shortstop next season and rarely pitches, if at all.

Roellig, Seo, Thompson, Kucherak.

Can't just pick the top ranked incoming recruit. They have a bunch and if Johnson feels the potential is there with them that is why he may not want to bring in Hill. Plus Reaves situation is a question. Could be another one.

Lol. If hill wants to come to LSU, there will be a spot for him. That's like JJ saw potential in a third baseman, or pitcher, and decided not to go after Skenes and White.
